There are two main places for tourists in Florida: the first place, of course, is Disneyland, known to every small and big fan of cartoons.
But there’s another side to Florida that’s just as enchanting – the beaches.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve got nothing against Mickey and his crew. But on my recent trip to Florida, I decided to skip the theme park crowds and head straight for the sand. And let me tell you, it was the best decision I could have made.
As soon as I stepped off the plane, I could feel the warm breeze on my face and I knew I was in for a treat.
These beaches are no joke. They stretch for miles and miles along the coast, and each one is more beautiful than the last. I spent hours just walking along the sand, taking in the stunning views and feeling the salty ocean spray on my skin.
But what I loved most about these beaches was that there was something for everyone. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker looking for some water sports action or just want to relax with a good book, there’s a beach for you.
I even tried my hand at surfing for the first time – let’s just say it didn’t go too well, but hey, I had a blast trying.
Of course, with so many beaches to choose from, it can be tough to decide where to go. But I found that the best way to choose was to just follow the crowd – the most popular beaches are popular for a reason, after all.
And even with all the people around, there was still plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the sun.
Now, I’ve been to plenty of beaches in my day, but Florida’s beaches are truly something special. The water is crystal clear, the sand is soft and white, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. I can see why they consistently top the charts when it comes to best places to relax.
The peninsula is washed by warm waters (in other places in the United States, the water temperature off the coast is much lower).
The breaking wave from the side of the bay is weaker, and its height is lower than from the side of the Atlantic. The water in the bay is always noticeably warmer than on the open ocean coast.
From Jupiter to K, one continuous strip of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. And to the north, of course…
From Marco Island to Panama City along the Gulf Coast!
I’ve prepared some of my favorite Florida Beaches, from sprawling family lots to tiny islands with secluded beach nooks, so you can turn your sugar white sand fingers into reality 😁.
Of course I am advising you famous Miami Beach.
Unless you are looking for the full beach scene in the city, this is the place to be.
On hot days, the beach is packed with sunbathers.

Where is Beach Vacation Better in Florida, Hawaii or Los Angeles?
My readers often ask us questions about comparing vacations in Florida and specifically in Miami and Los Angeles or Hawaii. Where is better? And my answer is:
It is worth going to Florida for a beach holiday in all its manifestations;
The beaches of Los Angeles are suitable for outdoor activities – especially for lovers of just sunbathing and surfing – and for everyone who wants to learn more about cinema, see Hollywood and visit the most famous US national parks – Yosemite and Sequoia;
Hawaii – for relaxing on semi-wild beaches surrounded by unique nature.
