Let’s look closer today at popular beach resorts.

America has the longest coastline, so there are a lot of opportunities for a beach vacation.

The best beaches in the world are those in Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Miami.

The California West Coast has a lot to boast about, including its amazing beaches.

It is known in all states of America.

Another beach that has become famous all over the world is Malibu.

This beach is ranked first in terms of celebrity attendance.

It is located on the California coast and has a length of 27 miles.

On the beach, there is an opportunity for surfing as well as other entertainment.

There are many clubs, restaurants, and bars in South Park.

Here, you can really relax to the fullest.

The beach, 4 miles long, smoothly turns into Miami Beach.

The number of its beaches Florida occupies a leading position in the world.

Its beaches offer a wide variety of activities: surfing, swimming, cycling, fishing, sailing, golf, tennis, boating, water skiing, etc.

The most famous and popular beach is Daytona Beach.

Hawaii

Hawaii has a large number of beaches.

Some of the best are Kaanapali, three miles long, and Black Rock Beach, located in Maui.

Black Rock Beach has an interesting feature: it was divided into two parts by solidified lava.

The main part is occupied by the beach area with a hotel, a golf resort, and a shopping center, and the most interesting thing is that all this is under a common roof.

Are There Any Tropical Beaches in the US?

Yes!

When you dream of a vacation in the tropics but are running out of time and money, you can find suitable options without going too far in the USA.

And it doesn’t matter if you live on the east or west coast; the tropical place is only a few hours away.

Islands, beach towns, and resorts await you to satisfy your longing for pleasant weather, palm trees, ice-cold fruit cocktails, and tiny umbrellas.

And the first tropical destination is

Key West, Florida

Year-round warm weather plus 300 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico make Florida the perfect tropical getaway destination.

In particular, Key West, the southernmost point in the US, is home to beautiful beaches, palm-lined streets, and a laid-back vibe.

Its history of cigar makers, literary figures, and explorers, along with Bahamian shell-like architecture, add to the overall mystique of the place.

Sanibel Island, Florida

Sanibel Island, part of a group of barrier islands in the Gulf of Mexico off the southwest coast of Florida, is known for its abundance of seashells.

White sand beaches, warm waters, mild weather, and lots of birds and other wildlife create a tropical atmosphere.

Visitors can enjoy golf, tennis, shellfishing, boating, and biking.

Wai’anapanapa Park Beach, Hawaii

This exotic tropical beach is known for its black sand.

Complete with lush palm trees and turquoise water, it claims to be a piece of paradise.

In addition, there are many underwater caves to explore.

Lanikai Beach, Hawaii

Lanikai, translated as “paradise sea”, is located on the coast of the island of Oahu.

You will be conquered by its turquoise waves and soft sand.

This is a great place for those who just want to lie on the beach and bask in the clear water.

Where is The Warmest US beach in December?

Kahului, Maui, Hawaii

Maui is a picturesque resort island that is part of the Hawaiian archipelago.

First of all, it is known for its stunning sandy beaches, whose total length is about 37 miles.

Many of them are included in the list of the best in the world.

No less interesting is the tropical nature of Maui, which can be admired in the wonderful parks, botanical gardens, and reserves of the island.

In addition to beach holidays, hiking in the jungle and mountain slopes, sea voyages during which you can watch whales, diving, snorkeling, and, of course, all kinds of surfing are very popular here; a huge number of fans of this sport come here every year.

Is Florida’s Beach Warm in December?

December is not the best time to stay at the beach in Florida.

During the day, the air temperature in winter can rise above 68 degrees, but the water in the ocean will hardly be comfortable for swimming.

On the plus side, December, January, and February have the least rainfall of the year.

Also, in winter in Miami, the humidity of the air is noticeably reduced.

I would recommend going to Florida in the winter for those who just want to relax and hang out in Miami in comfortable weather conditions.

I also note that winter is the perfect time to visit Disney World in Orlando. If you’re planning a vacation to Florida with kids, then if possible, try to go in the winter so you can comfortably visit Disney Park without running out of sweat and without huge lines.

Is Miami Beach Swimmable in December?

Yes, for some people, it is swimmable, but water temperatures in winter will drop to lows of 70–73 °F..

It might be quite chilly when you get out of the water.

Where is the Warmest Ocean Water in the US?

Big Coppitt Key has the warmest water currently found in the United States.

In this place, it has a value of 86°F.

Which Beaches in the US have the White-Sand Tropical Look?

Maui, Hawaii

Another of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in Hawaii can be found on the island of Maui.

Once a haven for Hawaiian royalty, today Kaanapali’s sweet sands and azure waters draw crowds to enjoy a variety of activities, from cocktails to sunbathing, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand-up paddle boarding, and even cliff jumping.

Key West

Key West is the southernmost point in the US.

In the 19th century, Key West was the wealthiest city in the country.

The source of wealth is the remains of the cargo of ships that the waves nailed to the shore.

And during the Great Depression, Key West went bankrupt.

Today, this piece of paradise thrives thanks to a well-established tourism business.

The best beach in Key West is Taylor.

There is fine sand, a gentle entry into the water, and a clean sandy bottom.

At Higgs Beach, the bottom is covered with algae, so it is less popular with tourists.

But lovers of secluded relaxation choose it.

The infrastructure is inferior to that in Miami.

Not everywhere is there a rental of sun loungers and umbrellas; there are no wooden paths to the water, and algae washed ashore spoils the overall picture.

But Key West has many additional attractions that attract guests.

A ritual obligatory for all tourists is the evening farewell to the sun.

Guests gather on the Mallory Square embankment and see off the luminary with applause.

The action continues with the performance of street performers.

Tired of a beach holiday?

You can visit the Hemingway house.

Once, the writer came to the island to relax but was fascinated by this place and stayed there forever.

The house is home to the descendants of the six-fingered cat Snowball, who are a kind of living exhibit.

O’ahu, Hawaii

Lanikai Bay attracts visitors with its fine white sand and smooth ocean floor.

It is great to watch the sunrise here; you get great pictures.

But the infrastructure is weak: there is no shower or toilet, and there are no parking spaces.

And you will have to rent a villa in the vicinity of the beach on the spot; the owners do not use the central Internet portals.

Cannon Beach, Oregon

I was in this amazing place and left a lot of impressions for myself.

Beautiful nature, mountains, fresh sea air, and nearby cafes, restaurants, and hotels The best place to spend time with your family or arrange a romantic vacation for two If you wish, you can take surfing lessons.

Very beautiful sunset on the ocean.

I highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

Warm Winter Beach Holidays on Local Islands

Culebra Island

The island has one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in the world, Flamenco Beach.

There are no luxury resorts, casinos, or upscale eateries, but you can enjoy a particularly peaceful holiday without traffic, crowds, or crime.

Its silky, soft white sands stretch along the length of the bay, which boasts shallow turquoise waters that are perfect for snorkeling and swimming, making it one of the best beaches in Puerto Rico.

Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Florida

Not very well-known tourist resorts with beautiful nature for a relaxing holiday.

They have over 16 miles of pristine white sand beaches with beautiful shells and good fish restaurants.

Sanibel Island is known for its beautiful sunsets, calm and secluded environment, and expensive hotels for the wealthy and intelligent public who come here with their children to relax in nature and get away from the hustle and bustle.

Captiva Island is a very cute and homely island in Lee County, Florida.

It is located next to Sanibel Island and is connected to it by a road that can be used to get there.

Both of these barrier islands are located within the city limits of Fort Myers and are popular with locals and tourists alike.

Newport, Rhode Island

Newport is a resort city and the center of sailing in the United States.

Newport is surrounded by the ocean on three sides.

It is located on the island of Rhode Island in the US state of the same name, in the northeast of the country.

In addition to recreation, the city is of interest to lovers of history and architecture.

It was founded in 1639.

At one time, the city was a major pirate base and the center of the slave trade.

When is the Best time to Swim in Florida?

It is believed that the best time for a beach holiday in Miami is the month of May.

In May, on the southeast coast of Florida, you can expect warm weather coupled with moderate rainfall.

It is unlikely that you will be able to avoid precipitation in general, but, as a rule, these rains are short-lived and do not greatly interfere with rest.

In May, it is cool at night, so in the morning, the water in the ocean cannot be said to be warm.

During the day, the water warms up and becomes comfortable for swimming and beach holidays.

Also, a good time to go to Miami is between April and October.

On average, the air temperature in April is several degrees lower than in May.

But at the same time, the level of precipitation and air humidity are also lower.

If you don’t really like the heat but, at the same time, would like to be able to swim, then April is perhaps the most favorable month for a vacation in Florida.

Weather conditions in October are very similar to those in May, but it is worth noting that October is hurricane season.

In any case, October is far from the worst time to travel.

Is the Water Warm on California Beaches?

No, the water is cold.

The Pacific Ocean washing the coast of Los Angeles is cold and suitable for surfers.

The beaches of Malibu—Zuma and Surfrider—will conquer you.

But the Atlantic Ocean in Miami is warm, and those who still plan to not only sunbathe but also swim can come here.

South Beach is especially beautiful.

Are Florida Beaches Warmer than California beaches?

Yes,the warmer water on the surface is constantly being replaced by cold water below, meaning you will shiver after swimming at the beach.

Why are Florida’s Beaches Warmer than California’s?

The cold California Current, which moves south along the coast from the Gulf of Alaska, and a concept called “upwelling” influence California.

Once, San Diego meteorologist Miguel Miller helped explain these phenomena.

He described the California Current as “a river of cool air that carries water from Alaska to California.”

Part of the air moves due to the high pressure that is established over the eastern Pacific Ocean.

Air moves around the high pressure zone in a clockwise direction, resulting in winds that blow from north to south off the west coast of the United States.

When the moving air touches the surface of the Pacific Ocean, it pulls the water in the same direction.

This funnels the cold waters of Alaska past Washington, Oregon, and then California on its way to Mexico.

The second factor is upwelling.

Miller thinks this phenomenon cools our beach days even more.

Upwelling occurs when winds push back the top layer of ocean water, which becomes warmer when it is directly in the sun.

The repelled water creates a vacuum that needs to be filled with something, so colder water rises from the depths to the surface.
