I will mention Clearwater Beach for many reasons if there is a beach I will always want to visit.

  However, I still love

Pete Beach

because of its tranquility and beauty.

Few beaches have all the features and facilities I  desire to see and these two beaches got them.

Here is what I think of these beaches

Clearwater Beach

Clearwater Beach town is one of these beaches.

Clearwater is located near Tampa, on the

west coast of Florida

.

You will experience 361 beautiful days of sunshine every year on Clearwater.

The story has it that it once had 768 nonstop sunny days, making it a record holder of “consecutive sunny days”.

I am not surprised that tourists come from all over the world, especially those of them who love snow,  to swim in the waters of Clearwater.

It is because the water is clear.

There is steady warm weather at Clearwater.

The temperature of the water is 70 degrees in the winter, and 90 degrees in the summer.

It is easy to come to Clearwater because it is close to St.

Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, and Tampa International Airport.

Some other reasons tourists are attracted to Clearwater are, that it has a lot of family-friendly waterfront activities.

The beach has fresh kinds of seafood, beautiful beach bars, an exciting year-round events calendar, different graders of hotels that fit any level of budget, and miles and miles of gorgeous beaches.

After my day’s activities whenever I come here, I head to Pier 60 in the evening for sunset celebrations.

The show is free, and you will love to attend.

The sun shines brilliantly, with glorious colors across the sky on Clearwater Beach.

You will see local street performers such as fire-breathers, tightrope-walkers, music dancing jugglers parading in the evening.

Tampa’s neighboring

town was once a non-active coastal city

.

Only the retirees were seen gathered at the green benches that line the streets.

However, presently, entrepreneurs, painters, travelers, beach lovers, and art lovers are attracted from other places to this town.

The retirees are having more fun too.

St Petes Beach

I can remember when my parents told me I was too young to move to St.

Pete, but I moved over to the city anyways.

I relocated with members of other Gen-Xers and millennials.

.

Most people are always looking for what they already have.

Clearwater Beach town is a walking distance of downtown.

It has front-porch neighborhoods, flamboyant old buildings, works of art, parks, and recreation centers, and its beaches are minutes away.

Tourists are still attracted to the sand and surf of St.

Pete Beach, despite the beauties of Clearwater Beach town.

Since the 1920s.

The flamingo-hued Don CeSar hotel, also known as the Pink Palace has been playing host to a lot of visitors to this barrier island.

On a good day, the temperature in St.

Pete Beach is in the low 80s, with no humidity, and the palms fluttering.

Getting a parking space on Gulf Way is difficult.

The Gulf Way runs stretches along the beachfront in this historic Pass-a-Grille neighborhood.

The very-soft white sand and turquoise-streaked water will make you

not feel the pains of being held up in a traffic jam

.

An eatery known as Paradise Grille serves is located at the Eighth and Ninth Avenues.

The eatery is a banana yellow hole-in-the-wall.

They open to serve you breakfast and stay until you have had your dinner.

Suntan Art Mart comes up on Saturdays.

At Suntan Art Mart you will find beach-themed creations and estate jewelry.

If you want to have a clear view of the beach, take a seat at the rooftop bar at Hurricane Seafood Restaurant.

There is a Brass Monkey close by that has a gulf view.

The Best of Both Worlds

Among the shops on Eighth Avenue, you will see the shop called Bamboozle, and others.

These are the places you will get stylish coastal dresses.

The end of the short street is Merry Pier.

At Merry Pier, you will see an old bait shop where you can book

fishing charters

.

Take a taxi to Shell Key, a yet-to-be-developed barrier island.

You will take a 10 minutes boat ride to get to the place you are free to snorkel, sunbathe, watch dolphins, and collect shells.

The taxi will come back to pick you up after some hours.

To retire for the day, check in to Chill Restaurant & Bar, at historic Corey Avenue for your dinner.

St.

Pete/Clearwater is home to

America’s Best Beaches

.

It is an active arts community, and full of many outdoor activities.

The place is a sunny destination you will love to visit.

St.

Pete/Clearwater has the most sparkling water on the Florida coast.

You will get all the facilities you need for your vacation there.

The beach town has beautiful beaches, captivating artworks, spots for family fun, and super restaurants.

St.

Pete/Clearwater has a lot to offer you, and you are free to fashion things your way.

My Thoughts

Clearwater Beach is the most popular spot on the sand.

There are so many activities that will keep you engaged on the beach.

Take a stroll along the half-mile Beach Walk.

You can spend your entire day swimming there.

You can pay a visit to the surf shops, you can go shopping for the best souvenirs at the tourist shops, or eat the sumptuous delicacies at the waterfront.

St.

Pete Beach is rated this year as the number one beach in America.

It was second in 2020 when

Siesta Key Beach was number one

.

This year Siesta Key Beach dropped to the number 17 position.

Madeira Beach was in the 9th position, Treasure Island was in the 16 positions, and Clearwater Beach took the 18th position.

Other

Tampa Bay beaches

were ranked in the 25th position.

St.

Pete Beach took the 5th position in the world ranking.

It came behind Whitehaven Beach which is in Australia,

Santa Maria Beach which is in Mexico

, Baia do Sancho which is in Brazil, and Grace Bay Beach which is in the Turks, and Caicos Islands.
