Cocoa Beach and Clearwater are great places for people who love water activities.

Sometimes, you can add beach partying to your bucket list before visiting a particular water destination.

The two beaches are located in Florida, which makes the state enviable regarding some of the

country’s finest beaches

.

Therefore, I will talk about these beaches to give you an idea of what to expect when you visit any of them.

Cocoa Beach

Only 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport and less than an

hour from the theme parks in central Florida, the easy highway ride makes visiting Cocoa Beach

a nice day or weekend trip.

But if you have more time you’ll find plenty of things to do.

Cocoa Beach is located on the eastern coast

of Florida in the heart of the Space Coast Highway.

This authentic beach town is famous for its beautiful beaches, world-class surfing conditions, and proximity to major attractions.

Although the population grows, thanks to tourism, the town still retains a quiet small town feel.

It is fun and carefree vibe make it a top vacation spot for families, surfers, nature lovers, and snowbirds alike.

The cocoa-colored soft sand beach, warm ocean water, and tropical sunshine are

why you travel to the city of Cocoa Beach

in the first place.

You will find ample open space to sunbathe, relax and watch the Atlantic for frolicking dolphins and diving birds.

On the Pier and surfing along the shore, you will see fishermen hoping to reel in a big one.

From this beach vantage point,

you will see cruise ships

From rentals and freshwater showers to beach volleyball courts and year-round lifeguards, locals and visitors alike love to spend their beach days here.

Cocoa Beach Pier

Cocoa Beach Pier is the most notable local landmark

There you’ll find bars, shopping, and restaurants offering great eats.

Take a stroll out to the end of the pier for fantastic panoramic views.

There are plenty of attractions in Clearwater Beach to fill up your days.

A vacation here is sure to be appreciated by the whole family, as there are multiple kid-friendly attractions, including Pier 60 and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

There are also many natural attractions in the area worth checking out, such as the unspoiled beaches and trails at Honeymoon Island State Park and Caladesi Island State Park – two of Florida’s most popular state parks.

So, whether you’re visiting to make lifelong memories with loved ones or to reconnect with nature, you’re bound to enjoy vacationing in this relaxed seaside town.

When you’re not at the beach paddleboarding, riding Jet Skis, or parasailing, among other water sports activities, take some time to enjoy Clearwater Beach’s historical theaters, parks, shopping districts, and casual beachfront restaurants.

You’ll also want to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to see the attraction’s famous dolphin residents.

The best time to visit Clearwater Beach is between October and December.

During these autumn months, you’ll find low humidity, fewer tourists, and many holiday events to experience.

July, August, and September’s frequent rainstorms and January, February, and March’s high volume of snowbirds (retirees and part-time residents from the northern U.

) make summer and winter two seasons to avoid.

If viewing wildlife is your main objective, consider visiting in April, May, or June when migratory birds, stingrays, and sea turtles are commonly spotted.

While the area differs every season, Clearwater Beach benefits from warm weather year-round.

Surfers find this beach as a perfect spot for their adventures.

Clearwater Beach offers more if you want several water sports to choose from.

Both beaches have a pier area, but the Clearwater one has much more activities for children

Cocoa Beach has more to offer, but if you’re looking for

calm water that you can see through like glass, Clearwater is the best option.

Is the water clear at Cocoa Beach?

the waves disturb the sand.

Water visibility is clearest during calm weather and periods without wind or wave action.

Beaches are generally most crowded near the pier, and in the areas to either side.
