Here I will give you my personal tips of what you should know before going to the Bahamas.
Few days back, I travelled to Bahamas with my boyfriend.
We had heard a lot about the beauty of this country and we have always desired to visit there someday.
One day prior to my birthday; my boyfriend surprised me by saying that we were going to Bahamas.
I got very excited.
It was perhaps the best moment of my life.
We packed our bags and got ready for the next day flight.
We were travelling to Bahamas for the very first time and our expectations were very high.
Bahamas really lived up to our expectations and it made my birthday very special.
We stayed there for five days and we made many beautiful memories during this time.
The foremost attraction of Bahamas is its beaches.
It was my birthday and I wanted to cut my birthday cake in the beautiful ambiance of a beach; so we bought a cake and headed to Gold Rock Beach.
This beach is a part of Lucayan National Park which is situated in Grand Bahamas Island.
Gold Rock Beach is extremely beautiful and its beauty made my birthday memorable.
We created an undying memory by cutting cake at this beautiful beach.
After that, we strolled along the seashore.
The water was crystal clear and it was shining.
We couldn’t resist swimming in the beautiful water.
It was a very enjoyable experience and we didn’t even notice that we had we crossed the Gold Rock.
There were some water filled caves and they were looking amazing.
We had a great time at this beautiful beach.
If you don’t like overcrowded places and you want to enjoy the beauty of the sea then this is the place that you are looking for!
Lucayan National Park is dotted with many interesting things to see which include Ben’s Cave, Burial Mound Cave and Lucayan Caverns.
We couldn’t watch all of them but somehow we managed to see Ben’s cave and it was an interesting place to see.
Apart from celebrating my birthday; we stayed in Bahamas for five more days.
During these five days; we moved from one city to another and saw many wonderful attractions of Bahamas.
Firstly, I would tell you Nassau.
It’s a beautiful city sprinkled with natural beauty and wonderful marine life.
We started our journey in Nassau with our visit to Blue Lagoon Island.
This island is one of the topmost attractions of Nassau.
This is a small island without any inhabitants except for animals.
Most of the tourists visit this island to see dolphin and sea lions.
I had seen dolphins several times but it was going to be my first interaction with sea lions.
I was very excited to see these wonderful marine creatures.
We had booked our tour to Blue Lagoon Island with a private company.
We had to pay a considerable amount of money for it but the experience that we had at this island was priceless.
We saw many dolphins in the dazzling water of the ocean.
My boyfriend spotted three sea lions and I got very excited.
I watched them for the very first time and it became the best moment of our tour to Blue Lagoon Island.
The blue lagoon is itself very beautiful and these charming marine creatures add to its beauty.
Do visit this place to see this beautiful blue lagoon and off course for watching dolphins and sea lions.
You also must go to Paradise Island.
It is the world’s largest marine park.
We had heard about this park and we really wanted to see the largest marine park of the world.
We visited there after our trip to Blue Lagoon Island and we were amazed to see this wonderful place.
There are around fifty thousand animals in this marine park.
This place is very lively and informative.
Staff members are very knowledgeable and they shared some interesting facts about this park with us.
Don’t miss seeing Predator Lagoon.
It is the gem of Paradise Island.
The most notorious predators of the ocean can be seen in this Lagoon.
We were astounded to watch a blacknose shark.
Watching it took me back to my childhood when I was afraid of bathing because I used to think that there is a shark in my bathtub!
We also saw many other species of Fish.
It was a pleasure to watch this wonderful sea life.
We also went to Aquaventure Water Park.
It is also situated in Paradise Island and it’s the best water park that we have been to.
In this beautiful water park; you could enjoy several types of rides and slides.
We decided to take pleasure of sliding on a slide known as ‘Pure terror’.
This sliding experience was pure adventure and we loved it.
There is a small restaurant in this park where you could have tasty snacks.
We did taste some snacks and also we had soft drinks.
This water park is a good package of fun and adventure.
Nassau is a beautiful city and it has countless options for outdoor activities.
It was our third day in Nassau and we were looking forward to take pleasure of some aquatic sports.
And we decided to visit Sandy Toes.
It’s a stunning beach which is famous among the tourists and locals for being an excellent place to enjoy kayaking.
Sandy Toes can be accessed very easily.
We reached there by ferry.
The 40 minute boat cruise was very pleasant and comfortable.
This beach is lined with numerous palm trees and these trees add to the beauty of this beach.
We saw many people enjoying beach-side volleyball.
It was a bonus for us.
We also joined them and had great fun.
We just loved the lively atmosphere of Sandy Toes.
After volleyball, we decided to go for kayaking.
We enjoyed our kayaking experience on this beach.
The blue water of the ocean was very clear and it was looking lovely.
The outstanding backdrop of this beach made our experience even more joyful.
You can also enjoy snorkeling in the beautiful blue water of Sandy Toes.
We did take delight of snorkeling and we really enjoyed.
The underwater visibility was excellent.
Sandy Toes is a perfect place to fill your vacations with great entertainment.
We also had a Sandy Toe Drink which is the specialty of this place.
It was superb.
If I ever got an opportunity to revisit Bahamas then I would definitely go to see this place again.
We had a great time in Nassau and after spending three days in Nassau; we moved to Freeport.
It is the capital of Bahamas.
Likewise Nassau, there is lots to see in Freeport.
We had a tight schedule; so we could not watch all of it but we did see some of the most famous places of this city.
Garden of Groves was the best place that we saw in Freeport.
It’s a beautiful and very well-maintained garden.
The colorful flower beds look awesome.
There is also a stunning waterfall which takes the beauty of this park to another level.
This garden is extremely photogenic and we snapped many pictures out here.
We spent the last day of our Bahamas vacations in Great Exuma.
We had visited this city to see Thunderbolt Grotto.
This place is very famous in Hollywood, at least for all James bond fans.
It is an underwater cave which was used in the filming of two movies of James Bond.
This superb underwater cave is a must-see for all the fans of James Bond.
My boyfriend is a great fan of James Bond and he was very excited to watch this place.
Truly saying, this place was beyond our imagination.
Thunderbolt Grotto is a natural wonder and you must see this amazing place whenever you visit Bahamas.
We saw countless colorful fish in the beautiful water of this cave.
Looking into this cave was somewhat similar to peeking into a different world.
We were stunned to watch this miraculous place.
Our 5 days Travel to Bahamas was an extremely enjoyable tour and it has become an undying memory for us.
