Monaco is a country of luxury life, wealth and beauty.
It is one of the smallest and richest countries in the world.
Everyone has heard it, everyone knows about it.
But in order to understand the atmosphere of Monaco, you must definitely visit it, it is not necessary to live here, you can come for one day.
When You first come here you feel some kind of trepidation of this legendary state.
It seems that even the air here is different, saturated with luxury and wealth only=)
The impressions I got from the 1 day trip were so strong that I could not sleep almost all night.
It is not about tiredness, but about my feelings and emotions.
My emotions were raged from the beauties and luxury life I saw that day =)
My Trip to Monaco
I came to Monaco from Nice by bus.
It’s about half an hour’s drive from Nice to Monaco, and the ticket price is ridiculous, it is just 1.5 euros.
Bus leaves from a stop near the Port of Nice.
There were few people at the bus stop, the bus was pretty comfortable and the bonus was breathtaking views from the window.
The area of Monaco is 0,8 sq miles ONLY!
And on this tiny territory there are four cities: Monaco-Ville – the capital of the country, La Condamine, Monte Carlo and Fontvieille.
There are no clear boundaries between these cities, and from the casino, which is located in Monte Carlo, to Monaco-Ville, I walked on foot, while I also passed through the territory of La Condamine, and this is where one city ended and began the other.
First of all, I went to the Monte Carlo casino, it is the most famous, most popular and one of the oldest in the world.

Residents of Monaco are forbidden not only to play, but even to visit this casino.
So the players in this casino are entirely wealthy foreigners, for whom the casino in Monte Carlo is a real paradise.
A visit to a Monte Carlo casino is the status of a rich and famous person, well, if they come here to play.
And for tourists like me, the casino is a real wealth, and an excursion to it is an acquaintance with the chic and beauty of the interior decoration of the institution.
Entering the building, you will be in a spacious foyer – and atrium, made in a classical style with walls in brown and golden tones, arches and columns.
Entrance to the lobby is free.
And to go further, you need to buy a ticket for 10 euros.
Ticket holders can not only admire the chic interior decoration of the casino, but also play a simple slot machine, or roulette or poker.
Unfortunately, I can’t show all of these beaty, because I was not allowed to take pictures.
Everything here is very well thought out.
Near the casino there is a magnificent park with tropical plants and lush flowers.
After Casino I went to the La Condamine district, the main attraction of which is the port of Baie d’Hercule – a port with a long history.

And now it is an ultra-modern port, with a huge number of luxurious and expensive yachts.
It can accommodate up to 700 ships.
And as you might guess, yacht parking here is very expensive.
The harbor is equipped in such a way that all these moorings of yachts do not have a negative impact on the local flora and fauna.
Albert I Boulevard is along the port.
The boulevard got its name in honor of the eleventh prince of Monaco, who made a huge contribution to the development of the state during his reign.
Monaco is home to the famous Formula 1 track.
Well, it’s not really a track, it’s an ordinary city street, but on the days of the competition it turns into a track.
Why Do Rich People Go to Monaco?
Rich people go to Monaco because of the absence of taxes on profits, on luxury, on capital.
And even despite the lack of tax revenue, Monaco is the richest country in the world in terms of GDP per capita.
Except this, everything is beautiful here: nature, climate, architecture, culture, nightlife, daytime bustle, morning coffee on fabulous terraces…
If you have not yet dreamed of living in Monaco, then most likely you have not been there.
The Principality of Monaco attracts rich and powerful people from all over the world.
Is Everyone Who Lives in Monaco Rich?
Yes.
Monaco is the world of the rich and famous, the world of millionaires.
Thanks to the income from the casino, Monaco has become such a rich and successful country.
And how nice it is to feel like a part of this world at least for one day, walk along the chic streets, admire the radiant sea.
Believe me or Not but your 1 day trip to Monaco can be done on a budget.
Even if you do not have an impressive amount, Monaco will show you all its beauties, allowing you to touch the luxury and splendor.
Can Poor People Live in Monaco?
No.
In order to settle in Monaco you need to be a very, very rich person.
In order for an application to live in Monaco to be considered, you need to deposit a certain (very decent) amount of money into the Monaco bank account.
There are some special requirements for obtaining a residence permit, and one of them is that you need to be not only a rich person, but also one that would be needed by a wealthy country.
But despite such difficulties, many people strive to live in Monaco.
And the most common reason for this is the absence of taxes on profits, on luxury, on capital.
And even despite the lack of tax revenue, Monaco is by far the richest country in the world in terms ofGDP per capita.
Prices for Real Estate in Monaco
Real estate here is insanely expensive.
A small apartment costs at least a million dollars.
By the way, according to local law, one citizen of Monaco must have at least 1345 square feet of housing, so if there are not enough feet, the country will definitely help.
True, the Citizens of Monaco are not poor people, but it happens that such assistance is still required and the country will definitely provide it.
The Life of Real Residents of Monaco
In Monaco, you can be born into an ordinary family and do ordinary things: work in a state institution, take children to school, spend evenings with loved ones.
But it is possible to build a successful business and bask in the luxury.
There are about 30 percent of millionaires in Monaco.
There are not so many Monegasques – the indigenous inhabitants of Monaco.
Usually, Indigenous Inhabitants of Monaco are born in the Princess Grace Hospital – the main and only public hospital in the country.
The conditions in the hospital are the same for everyone, regardless of status: a day’s stay in the ward costs 400 euros.
In addition to a separate room with a terrace overlooking the sea, the price includes meals and a personal maid.
Only Monegasques enjoy special conditions: for them, for two days, all the costs of childbirth are covered by the state.
In addition to this, the natives are paid one thousand euros for each child born.
In the country, few people purposefully receive higher education.
Most school graduates immediately go to work in the tourism or hotel business.
It is known thatat the International University of Monaco, in addition to the faculties of business and finance, there is a one-of-a-kind specialty – luxury management.
Graduates of this faculty become managers in premium car showrooms, managers in five-star hotels and casinos, jewelry specialists and other professionals in demand in the world of luxury.
