What is Florida for you?
Florida for most people is endless beaches , amusement parks, nightclubs, chic restaurants and great shopping. Not everyone knows that in addition to all of the above, in Florida there are unique sights, the creation of which nature itself has worked hard to create.
During my travels, I like to visit
different national parks
and generally spend a lot of time in nature.
I love Florida for its amazing parks and beaches.
Florida always gets everybody’s attention.
I know that first places in the ranking for amazing nature were occupied by the cities of the state of Florida.
That’s why today I am telling you about the places in Florida for nature lovers.
Where to Live in Florida for Nature Lovers?
Southeast
Florida.
Southeast Florida is a paradise for nature lovers, sailors, gardeners, golfers, fishermen and travelers.
No wonder why so many people choose to buy property here.
You can find here the most exciting sights like
national parks
and wilderness areas.
There are several large natural parks that are located near Jupiter, North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
In this area , wildlife can be seen at dawn or dusk, including tree storks, sandhill cranes and rare pink birds.
Here you can fish in a fresh lake , having previously obtained permission. Catfish and perch are found here.
Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge Park is located in this area.
This 140,000-acre area is located about an hour from the Jupiter area and is home to the American
alligator
and Snail Kite (an endangered bird species), as well as over 250 species of other birds.
For lovers of such fauna, this reserve will be a real paradise, which is also known as the ‘meeting place’ – a collection of more than 400 species of birds from all over the sunny state.
There is a special boardwalk that is used throughout the entire area so that you do not get your feet wet in the swamp, walking along the planned routes, visiting observation towers, piers and studying various information signs.
Does Florida Have a Lot of Nature?
Yes!
You might be surprised to see a lot of amazing nature in Florida .
Florida is also home to some of the most beautiful natural springs , wildlife, and national parks.
There are so many amazing places for natural lovers in Florida that it’s hard to pick just one =)
From beaches to national parks , there are plenty of reasons why this state is considered one of the best vacation spots in the world.
All Florida’s beautiful nature and national parks are located in the south of this state, and not so far from Miami.
To visit the Everglades, Biscayne and Big Cypress, it is more convenient to settle in the town of
Homestead.
And from there it’s also convenient to start along the Florida Keys road to Key West and swim to Dry Tortugas Park.
The nature parks in this Area:
Everglades National Park
Everglades National Park is a unique subtropical environment where you can experience the unique ecosystem of Florida swamps and seas of tall, razor-sharp grass.
Alligators, birds and many different animals live here. including cougars.
Biscayne National Park
Biscayne National Park is a marine national park in Biscayne Bay.
Diving, snorkeling, trip to the key islands – that’s what you can do here.

The Big Cypress National Preserve is another wildlife preserve with uniquely diverse landscapes, Florida’s source of freshwater and the home of the Florida panther .

Where to Live in Florida For Nature Lovers?
Where Is the Most Beautiful Nature in Florida?
Devil’s Den State Park.
Florida has a unique combination of sinkholes , air-filled caverns and underwater cave systems that you won’t find anywhere else.
There is everything you need if you are a nature lover, you can also organize a family picnic here.
Devil’s Den itself is an underground lake with blue water.
A hole in the ground opens the entrance to the cave, where there is an amazingly beautiful lake 72 feet deep, which is fed from an underground source.
The water in the lake is warm, and on cold days steam comes out of the hole.
The name of this place – Devil’s Den Lae (“devil’s lair”).
Thousands of years ago, the upper part of the cave collapsed, and until the cavity was filled with water, the cave was a trap from which animals and people who fell there could not get out.
The remains of prehistoric animals that fell there are found at the bottom of the cave to this day.
You can’t just splash in the lake, but there are organized diving and snorkeling sessions (for adults and children over 6 years old).
But non-divers will not be bored either – above the cave there is everything you need to organize a family picnic.
Colorful Reefs Of Florida
Florida is home to the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world and the only one living in the US, making it a real natural beauty attraction for the state.
Known as the Great Florida Reef
, these reef corals are
protected by two unique underwater parks:
Biscayne National Park and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.
Here you can soak up the lush tropical vegetation while gliding through the water with your fins to explore the beautiful coral formations and colorful marine life.
What Part of Florida Has The Most Nature?
Southeast Florida Has the most Nature, as I mentioned above.
You must visit
the Florida Forest of Ocala
which is located in this area.
The Florida forest of Ocala hides from the sun in the shade of trees the enchanted world of underground sources. The picturesque views will take your breath away.
More than 20 sand holes in shallow water are connected by charming bridges, from which you can watch crystal clear water, depending on the weather and time of day.
This is a real oasis where you can enjoy nature in all its manifestations, including living in a tent, watching animals and birds in their natural habitat, swimming and sunbathing on a white sand beach, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding.
When To Come to Florida to Enjoy Nature?
Come to south Florida in spring in May and in autumn in October.
And I can definitely say that a trip to Florida in the spring and early summer is the best option both in terms of prices, not a very large number of tourists, and weather.
Not so hot yet, but already good. And in the fall, you can generally get into one of the hurricanes that regularly attack the southeast coast of Florida.
To summarize I would like to say that the best part is that in order to plunge into the world of natural beauty and get an unforgettable experience,
Florida residents
are lucky, they do not need to take vacations and look for flights.
All you need for an exciting trip is a car and some free time!
