The museum was founded in 1932 and is now considered one of the greatest art museums in Israel.

Ilana Goor Residence and Museum
The official house-museum of the artist Ilana Goor that also served as a former hospice for pilgrims visiting Jaffa.

The library is available on the first floor and has a small corner of knowledge dedicated to humanities, art, and religion.
