Pensacola Beach

The second name of Pensacola beach town is “Western Gate to the Sunshine State.”  You will find Pensacola beach in northern Florida. The sand on the beach is as white as sugar grain.

The sky of the beach town is devoid of grey clouds and innumerable downpours. The beach town is known for its pristine beaches. It is a waterfront city and home to a lot of Florida history. It is one of the places the earliest European that came to America settled.

There are many museums and landmarks on Pensacola beach that tells you the history of the town. This is the reason it is a choice of destruction for historians and students. The weather in Pensacola is friendly at all times of the year.

Its beaches are protected, and there are high-class restaurants and stores at the service of vacationers.

From the east coast or the west coast, you will always have a beautiful view of the best sandy white beaches in Florida. Destin and Pensacola are both beautiful beaches. They both have scenic drives and crystal clear waters which your children will love to swine in.

Destin

Destin beach town has many beautiful beaches. From Okaloosa Island to Henderson beach, you will see the beautiful display of bright sunsets and emerald waters.

Destin beach has white sand and blue skies like Pensacola beach. These are the features that attract tourists to this town every year.

It has a great fishing pier and boardwalk which gives families on vacation the opportunity to have beautiful views of its shoreline and the surrounding cities.

Any family looking for a place to have a perfect picture of a sunset as they have memorable moments on the beach should visit Destin beach town.

Things to Do in Destin

The piece of land where Pensacola Beach is located is narrow. Destin beach has many attractions for people of all ages and adventurous kids.

You and your family will experience what life underwater looks like through the Sea Blaster Dolphin. You will have the opportunity to cruise with dolphins or snorkel under the surface.

When you and your family are tired of the salt water, you can go over to Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park at Destin beach. You will see fun water slides in the park, a calm river, and a playground for your little ones. It also has a sky coaster and mini-golf course for your off-water activities.

Another nice destination in Destin is the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. There is lots of aquatic life and wildlife for you and your family to explore, like dolphins, sea lions, otters, and penguins.

Tickets for many rides in this park are sold out in advance, so if you want to go on any ride or cruise like the Sea Blaster Dolphin, you must book your ticket.

Things to Do in Pensacola Beach

The features you will get at Pensacola beach are similar to the ones on Destin beach, but the activities in Destin brach are limited by the tiny slip of land on which the town is situated. A lot of land space in the area is preserved by the government.

Going down to Pensacola Beach’s coast, you will see many nature preserves and trails such as Little Sabine Preserve Park and Fort Pickens. You have a lot to learn here about the history of the islands’ military.

If you have grownups,  there are parasailing, jet ski rentals, charter boats, and dolphin cruises on Pensacola beach that will keep them entertained as they explore the features of the beach.

Going to Pensacola Beach, if you want a place you will enjoy natural landscapes without much crowd.

Dining Options in Destin and Pensacola

Florida’s gulf coast is the destination for vacationers who love good foods. They go there to eat the best seafood as they sunbathe by seaside food vendors. You and your family will eat good food in many places on Destin and Pensacola beaches.

Destin

Destin is an emerald city. Its second name is “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village”, and there are good reasons for this name.

The city has nice restaurants, excellent nightlife, and sumptuous delicacies. If you dislike seafood, do not worry, you must see the food you like.

For those that love seafood, the Baytown Wharf and the HarborWalk Marina are waiting to spoil you with excellent food options.

For those who do not like sea foods, McGuire’s Irish Pub or Buck’s BBQ is ready to give you the meals you will not forget in a hurry, and at cheap prices too.

Pensacola Beach

There are lots of restaurants and foods to choose from in Destin, while there are few tasty spots in Pensacola.

Some cheap restaurants with a good environment for kids are Peg Leg Pete’s, Flounder’s Chowder House, or Crabs on the Beach. Your family can enjoy great meals there with a good sea view.

The restaurants on the Pensacola beach side of the Emerald Coast are cheaper than the restaurants on Destin. Although the varieties they offer are almost the same. From their seafood to smokin’ BBQ, and fresh tacos, they are almost the same.

What I  Think about Destin and Pensacola

There are lots of natural landscapes in Pensacola. It is a cheaper alternative for families who want to be in the sand on a beach or visit natural parks.

Pensacola has a fishing pier and boardwalk, just like Destin. You and your family can get down to the emerald waters through this boardwalk to have a clear view of the shoreline.

You have better-secluded scenery in Gulf Islands National Park. The crowd there is not much. From this park, you and your family can have a better view of sunsets in Pensacola.

Do you want to experience something bigger than building sandcastles and swimming in the ocean? There are lots of activities in both cities for travelers that came alone and those that came with their families.
