There has been a heated debate among vacationers on which beach between Rehoboth and Bethany is better for a week-long vacation.

 I will be the judge in this argument and give reasons why you should pick any of these beaches.

Whenever, I visit Delaware, I can always head to any of these beautiful beaches.

My friends have always argued about the better beach between the two.

Bethany Beach

Bethany Beach is located in Quiet Resorts.

It is a seven-mile stretch of sandy beach.

 There are totem poles put in place by the locals to guide Bethany Beach.

There are lots of recreational activities that will keep you engaged on these beaches.

These activities include swimming, fishing, surfing, Boogey boarding, and raft riding.

From late May to early October, the temperature of the water gets warm enough to swim in.

Some people even swim in it in January.

The bay side of Bethany Beach is good for sailing, windsurfing, jet skis, fishing, crabbing, water skiing, and boating.

As the sun sets, you and your family can go shopping, eat in any of the restaurants, play basketball or volleyball, play video gaming, or take a walk along the half-mile-long boardwalk of Bethany Beach.

on Bethany Beach during the summer season.

Some of these activities are, the regular concerts and performances hosted on the boardwalk bandstand in the center of the town,

Delaware has a 30-mile clean coastline and many passive park areas which vacationers come to enjoy.

Nature-based activities like kayaking, nature cruises, ferry rides, walking trails, surfing, skimboarding, paddleboarding, sailing, or exploring the water edge will give you a memorable vacation.

Taking a tour of historical venues, and attending live performing arts will add to your memory of this “Nation’s Summer Capital”.

It is located between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay.

There are many beach sports and other activities you will be engaged in there.

It has good restaurants, majestic sunsets, live music performances, and dancing.

Nightlife here is world-class.

Here there are lots of activities uniquely designed for families during summer, such as movies and bonfires on the beach.

The road leading to this place is “Highway One”.

The famous Tanger Outlet Center is located along this road as well as many restaurants, bars, shops, and other places of attractions.

Fun-seekers go to the Resort Area to catch fun any time of the year.

There is something for every age there.

In May and October comes the Spring and fall sidewalk.

There is a Street Market that also comes up in May.

Activities on the beach come to their pick in September.

The Scarecrow Trail and Show are held between September and October.

The annual Sea Witch Festival that holds in October is for lovers of fun, costumes, and parades.

Other fun-filled activities here include 5K Races, Pet Events, Jazz Festivals, Film festivals, and a holiday tree lighting festival.

If you visit any of these beaches, you will not want to go.

You will always want to come back to enjoy the boardwalk, natural beauty, and hospitality the beaches offer.

There is so much to enjoy at the tax-free Resort Area.

People who visit these beach towns for the first time always wish to stay back.

What I Think About The Beaches

In summary, although Rehoboth and Bethany are different in many ways, the two beach towns both have good restaurants and hip shops, and you stand the chances of meeting people you know anywhere in the towns.

Any of the beach towns you choose among the two will give you the fulfilled vacation of your dream.

with your car and taking the DE 1 route, the distance is about 13 miles.

If you did not stop over along the way and did not meet any traffic delay, it will take about half an hour.
