Everybody likes shopping malls even if it is not to shop, they can at least enjoy the beautiful displays in the shop. After all there is no rule that says if you look you must buy. Funny enough, even those who pretended they were in the mall just for viewing always end up with bags full of clothes. All around the world, there are shopping malls that serve different budget levels as well as those in which the super rich as well as the yet to be rich can shop side by side. While shopping malls can be found everywhere, some malls are better than others.
New South China Mall, Dongguan China
This mall located in Dongguan city occupies an area of 659.6 thousand square meters and has floor space for up to 2500 stores. The mall’s design is separated into seven sections each inspired by a city or country. The seven sections are designed after, Venice, Rome, Paris, Egypt, Caribbean, California and Amsterdam. However, in spite of the large space, most of the stores remain empty as the location of the mall is not very accessible to the general public.
Golden Resources Mall, Beijing China
This mall that occupies a space 557.4 thousand meter is also known as the Great Mall of China. The mall is not very popular partly due to its remote location away from the neighbourhoods where you are most likely to meet foreigners. Also transportation to the mall requires hopping on and off subways, buses and some walking too. However a new rail line is being built to link this area to the rest of the railway network. When it comes to shopping, foreign debit and credit cards are not accepted by most shops. Despite the mall’s remoteness, known brands like Ralph Lauren and Channel have taken up shop in this mall.
SM city North Edsa Quezon city, Philippines
This is the largest mall in the southeast of Asia and has been in existence since 1985. Ever since the mall was built, it has undergone many extensions and renovations and today boasts of store space that can accommodate at least 1100 shops with extra space for restaurants and residential condominiums. The mall is also hailed for its effort in promoting t a better environment through its use of solar energy. There are at least 5000 solar panels located in the mall.
Isfahan city Center, Isfahan Iran
This shopping mall that opened in 2012 is being built in four phases. There floor area of 470 thousand square meters stores can take up to 750 shops comprising stores, entertainment areas, dining and even offices of airlines. The plan of the mall includes a seven star hotel, cinemas at least seven and a trade center.
Utamar, Selangor Malaysia
The Utamar mall occupies a surface area of 465 thousand square meters can take up to 700 stores in its two wings. There the mall is mostly dominated by four department stores but there also smaller brands and entertainment store in the mall.
