The largest art gallery in Costa Rica is five minutes drive from the Liberia International airport.
It is called “ The Hidden Garden Art Gallery.
” It is housed in 15 rooms and has dozens of local artworks.
At the gallery, you will see the beauty of Costa Rica displayed as it is captured by artists in paintings and sculptures.
Every room is divided into smaller units, and on each unit is displayed a class of artwork.
In some units are displayed geometric artworks while beautiful underwater images are displayed in some units.
Ponderosa Adventure Park
Ponderosa Adventure Park is a perfect
destination for families
on vacation in Liberia.
Its location is less than 15 minutes drive outside Liberia city.
Get ready to have a mind-blowing view of wildlife like giraffes and zebras in this park.
You will take a tour of the waterfall and zipline too.
If you are coming to Ponderosa Adventure Park, you can take safari tour.
Take with you not less than 2 bags of carrots before you embark on this tour.
You can buy each bag for $2 at the reception desk.
With these carrots be ready to feed giraffes and zebras as you are driven along on the safari vehicle.
Deriving through the savannah area will take you about one and half hours.
La Leona Waterfall Hike
You cannot visit Liberia and not get up close to one of Costa Rica’s beautiful waterfalls.

Getting to the waterfalls may not be easy sometimes, and the road may not be good for a rental vehicle.
