Its borders touch two important countries, China, and Vietnam.
This area is very rich in its flora and fauna.
It is surrounded by some small mountains which are further surrounded by some higher mountainous areas.
This whole location combines to create a gorgeous landscape.
This area gives paints a natural landscape has been decorated with the best embellishments nature can provide.
This province thrives with heavy rainfall and very low temperatures.
As a result of this, many tourists enjoy going to the mountain/river areas to enjoy exotic and fantastic river-rafting sports.
Because of its location, surrounded by high mountains, Phongsali enjoys cooler temperature for most of the year.
There are many other attractions here apart from the magnificent natural spots.
Luang Prabang is one such location, where you can enjoy a boat trip.
Phu Den Din is another excellent place to visit and have fun.
The people living in this province generally follow the culture of China.

The Presidential Palace in Laos is one of the best buildings to represent the rich culture of this nation.
As it is placed in Vientiane, it is also known as Vientiane Presidential Palace.
This destination is located on Xang Steet.
This local street is well traveled because of the Presidential Palace, but it is a pleasant street to walk even if you are not going to the Palace.
This Palace is famous for its excellent architectural designs and innovative patterns.
It was built in the style known as Beaux Arts.
The people of Laos feel a lot of pride in this beautiful architectural monument.
The prime reason for the formation of this Place was to provide shelter to the governors from the colonial groups.
This palace even enjoyed the responsibility of housing the Monarchs, who governed the country even after a long period of independence.
In the recent past, this palace was used by the Royal groups and families.
But since they were restricted in 1970, this venue is now used for organizing some formal and social gatherings and ceremonies.

Things to do in Laos with kids
Vieng Xai Caves
For a beautiful and historic expedition, visit the Vieng Xai Cave Seng Xai Caves in Laos.
They illustrate both historic settlements as well as how parts of the country maintained during wars.
This area faced and suffered severe bombardings during the 1960s and 70s.
The area was affected so much, that the people living near it had to take shelter in the nearby caves.
These caves are called Pathet Lao.
If you use help of the guides to visit these caves, you will find it easy to understand the lives of as many as twenty thousand people who chose these dark caves as their homes and workplaces.
These caves are located on the east side of Sam Neua.
It is also an impressive venue to see and is a part of a conservation area.

Mekong
Mekong is considered to be the longest river in the Eastern part of Asia.

Mekong is surrounded by an exquisite mountain area.
Mekong River and Mekong Path are the main locations where the majority of transportation within Laos occurs.
Discovering and enjoying this famous river could arouse a sense of adventure within you- especially if you choose to cross it.
Tham Ting and Tham Theung caves
Tham Ting and Tham Theung caves are also called the Pak Ou Caves.
If you are looking for adventure and fun, you’ll want to visit these caves.
Tourists enjoy and even recommend these caves because of their charm and interesting Buddha statues.
The figures are placed on both sides of these caves and the larger ones are found facing the Mekong River.
When visiting the caves, you may get the sense that the figures have a greater purpose.
