Hey Guys!
I just came back from my second vacation with a lot of energy and totally recovered.
To begin with, I will say that the vacation turned out the way it was planned.
There were no major failures; minor inconsistencies, of course, happened, but this is fixable.
My vacation lasted two weeks and was divided into three uneven parts.
The first part is Spartan Pensacola, the second is glittering Disney World, and the third is the best US beach resort on the Florida Gulf Coast: Naples,Fort Myers, Bonita Springs…
I have already told you so much about every destination except Bonita Springs, haven’t I?
Now is the time to look closer at this city.
What is Bonita Springs, FL, Known For?
Just like Fort Myers Beach, Bonita Beach is a series of barrier islands offering tourists clean, sandy beaches, emerald seas, and excellent recreational opportunities.
Here you can rent kayaks, water scooters, or beach catamarans.
Numerous original restaurants offer both specialties from the sea (“monsters”) and “classic” American dishes: steaks, hamburgers, and pizza.
Between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Beach, there is a protected area.
It can be visited for a reasonable price, but rules must be observed on the territory, such as a ban on fishing and damage to nature.
Bonita Springs has grown significantly over the past 10 years and is a kind of town in between Fort Myers and Naples.
Top Things To Do in Bonita Springs at Night
Swim in the evening and find some Gopher turtles
Here is one beach that I highly advise and recommend in the Bonita Springs area: the Barefoot Beach Preserve.
To get to this beach, you need to drive along the Barefoot Beach Road through a private area with cool mansions, reminiscent of luxury houses along the 17-mile road.
Entrance to the beach is free, but you will have to pay $8 for parking if you do not have a special permit, which is issued to residents of Collier County.
Gopher turtles live among the bushes on this beach.
I enjoyed watching them from the side, trying not to disturb the cute creatures.
And on Barefoot Beach, it is interesting to look at many different shells (including the rare Sand Dollar, the skeleton of a flat shield-shaped sea urchin), a complete collection of which can be viewed in the visitor center.
Get a great massage at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa
I chose a hot anti-cellulite wrap.
The masseur was so very social and polite, and the whole procedure was a real pleasure.
The scrub he used, by the way, was from the Body Shop.
It Smelled wonderful!
When he began to rub the place where it itched a lot, I was ready to lie on this table forever.
He scrubbed everything for me: arms, palms, legs, heels, and back (oh, how good it was!).
Then I was sent back to the sauna for a few minutes.

Take a 2-Hour Sunset and Glow Clear Kayak Guided Tour
You will get the feelings of well-being and calmness that are enhanced by the beautiful surroundings in which they are practiced.
During this tour, your senses will be activated, and we will work intensely with our bodies, hardly realizing it.
So if you are intent on trying something new and enjoying an authentic experience, consider trying your hand at kayaking.
Take a late-evening dune Dune rental in Bonita Springs
It can be a single car for a solo trip or a car board on a 2- or 4-seater buggy for the more adventurous people.
For nearly an hour, you’ll be able to climb up and down 30-foot dunes, stop for photos, try sandboarding,
You will have so much fun.
Take a Guided kayak tour through the mangroves
Mangroves are also deciduous trees, but they are only evergreen.
This is not one species; scientists have about 20 varieties of similar plants.
They have adapted to life in the water under conditions of constant tides.
For their growth and development, they usually choose bays that are protected from powerful sea waves.
The height of these trees reaches 49 feet.
At high tide, only their tops are visible.
But when the tide comes out, you can look at them more closely by kayak.
Have a Party on a Rental Pontoon Boat
After a whole day of swimming and sunbathing on the beach, spend a beautiful evening with a pleasant breeze, the sea around you, a few friends, and a few drinks.
A Party on the boat will be the perfect evening for any sailor.
Once you decide on the type of party and the idea, the boat crew can start choosing food, drinks, and music for you.
Visit The Wonder Gardens
The Wonder Gardens is the home for all rescued and unreleased birds and reptiles.
The Wonder Gardens’ team looks after more than 300 resident animals, improves wildlife cages, expands the property’s botanical beauty, and adds events and programs for children.
Buy organic products at the Bonita Springs Farmers Market
In general, it’s like any grocery market, where farmers sell their food: vegetables, fruits, and sometimes meat and dairy products, but these are in large farmers’ markets.
Farmers’ markets usually take place on weekends, that is, either on Saturday or Sunday.
Naturally, you need to buy in cash; farmers do not accept credit cards.
I really like the products from the farmers’ market.
They are much tastier, although they are not certified organic, but nevertheless, I think they are not grown in such terrible conditions as the big companies do; it’s just that farmers do not always have the money to get certified organic.

Does Bonita Springs, FL, Have a Downtown?
Yes, it has a charming and historical downtown.
There are many old artist cottages, and there are thousands of local gift shops for hidden gems.
You can explore the food, drinks, and dining options at a variety of cafés, restaurants, and shops.
There is even a farmers market, where you can purchase farm-fresh produce or sample something new from a food truck.
You can also rent a bike, kayak, or paddle board to take advantage of Riverside Park and the Imperial River’s recreational activities.

Does Bonita Springs Have a Boardwalk?
Of course, there is a huge boardwalk in Bonita Springs and a 2.5-acre beachside park known as Bonita Beach Park.
Is Bonita Springs Walkable?
Yes.
The entire coast is covered with beaches; some of them, however, are not for everyone because they belong to hotels or closed residential complexes (the largest in the region is Bonita Bay).
