Over the years, Cocoa Beach, Florida has become one of my favorite vacation spots for its waves and feel of sand under the warm sun.
On the other hand, I have loved the contagious energy feels the air in the Naples historic downtown.
Visiting the two destinations allows me to use clothing boutiques, restaurants and art galleries.
I consume first class meals while enjoying the view of the ocean and making a toast from a sailboat at sunset.
Cocoa Beach vs Naples Florida, which of these destinations should I consider?
Cocoa Beach
The Cocoa Beach was used as the setting in a 1960’s television show titled “I Dream of Jeannie” and has been made even more popular.
With a population of about 11,000 people, Cocoa Beach is located in Brevard County which is just along the Atlantic Coast.
One of the reasons why many people enjoy traveling to Vicia Beach is because of its amazing reputation in surfing.
In Cocoa Beach, there are a lot of surfing festivals and competitions, which are held annually.
Ron Jon’s surf shop has about two million visitors coming to get all the materials and gear that they can possibly need for surfing.
To add to this, Cocoa Beach is home to the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame.
There are several reasons why Cocoa Beach is a great destination for a vacation.
With its Cocoa coloured soft sand beach, warm ocean water and tropical sunshine, this should be in your list of places you definitely need to come to.
Moreso, there is a very large open space where you can bathe in the sun, relax and watch the Atlantic for diving birds and frolicking dolphins.

Naples is a city which is located on the Gulf of Mexico on Florida’s southwest coast.
Among other things, Naples is best known for the high end shopping opportunities that it offers.
It also offers golf courses and a long stretch of beautiful beaches that have very fine sugar white sand and calm waters.
Whether it’s a job, vacation or permanent relocation to Naples, you are making a very good decision as it has the best quality of life.
You will not only enjoy the warm sun or the high end shopping, Naples provides top-notch dining.
You will also enjoy the quaint historic downtown to the beautiful view of the ocean.

However, if you’re considering the surrounding Naples-Marco Island in Florida, Metropolitan area, the population is higher than that in Naples with about 322,000 residents.
The types of households that exist in Naples are very diverse.
Roughly 53% of the population in Naples consist of married couples, 10% have children under the age of 18 living with them.

There are a couple of places in the beach where you can get lessons on surfing and also rent beach equipment.
You’ll definitely enjoy your stay in Cocoa Beach as you can rent basically everything you need for an enjoyable stay, fresh water showers, beach volleyball courts and all year round lifeguards always on standby.
While some live in Naples as part-time residents, some live there full-time.
Like winter birds, many people fly south to Naples for the season.
Naples is full of beachcombers, retirees, vacationing families and affluent travelers during the late fall, early spring and winter who come to take a break from the colder climates.
