With the 300 days of amazing sunshine, I immersed myself in many outdoor activities.
What is there to do in Agadir at night?
The night opened another side of the city when I came to Agadir.
After the sun sets, I could still keep myself busy as there are many fun places I could go.
Regardless of the time of the day, Agadir’s beauty and ambiance can be felt.
Some of the night activities that I definitely cannot miss during your stay in Agadir are listed below:
For beautiful sunset vistas drive to the Kasbah
The Kasbah is the perfect spot if you want to get an amazing sunset view.
This place was built in 1541 and is a string of great fortifications.
When standing on top of the hill where the Kasbah lies, you can see how Agadir stretches from the thick forests to the bright sand beaches.
Once the sun begins to set over the Atlantic and the light spreads throughout the city, the view is even more impressive.
Check out La Scala to feast on appetizing seafood
Among the many amazing restaurants in Agadir, the La Scala is a great recommendation for appetising seafood.
In this eatery, I enjoyed classic French flavours with fresh seafood.
You can also get a taste of some of the typical Moroccan dishes as they are also available in this restaurant.
Dance away the whole night at clubs like Papagayo
Do you enjoy dancing?
Whether you’re a great dancer or not, it doesn’t hurt to hit the dance floor once in a while and Papagayo is one of the best nightclubs to do so.
Papagayo is a very popular night club in Agadir and is located at the RiuTikida Beach Hotel.
Thanks to its large dance floor, talented DJs, the party in this club happens until the morning.
I can trust the DJ to play the best house and Techno music that will always leave my feet tapping and my head nodding to the beat.
Another popular night club that you should try out as well is So Night Lounge.
It’s a great choice for partying and the champagne and vodka bars in this nightclub are nothing short of amazing.
One downside, however, is that the drinks are a little on the high side, but the local DJs and artists do a great job providing customers with exceptional music throughout the night.
People watch at a promenade café
If you like to take in everything going on in your environment and observe people around you, then a table at La Verandah is the ideal spot to do so.
With a seat at one of the outside tables, you can grab a light snack while watching tourists and locals stroll along Hassan II Avenue.
You can watch the hustle and rush of people going about their day or heading to different places such as clubs, restaurants and even marketplaces.
Catch a match at the English Pub
Alongside a well curated menu of English comfort foods, there is a mass of TV screens which attracts a lot of tourists, expats, and locals for evenings of constant fun.
As such, whether you’re watching a football match, grabbing the mic for karaoke night, or playing a game of billiards, there is always an activity to engage in.
On the other hand, if you prefer a laidback night without a lot of noise and people, you can sit back with a drink at the pub’s beachside location.
Cool off with a sweet treat at Venezia Ice
Venezia ice provides a variety of delicious ice creams, Moroccan pastries, rich smoothies and stuffed crepes which leave you full, refreshed and ready to go about your day while exploring the beautiful city or even shopping.
Listen to live music at the seaside restaurant Les Blancs
Not only does the restaurant Le Blancs have an amazing location just at the edge of the Agadir beach where you can listen to the soothing sound of the ocean, you can relax and enjoy even more with the live music and the sumptuous meal prepared for you.
During your stay in Agadir, you should definitely order one of the many varieties of paella (a Spanish delicacy).
Watch incredible performers bring history to life
For an evening of incredible performances and adventure, you are entertained with acts and shows by Gnaouas (Gnawas), M’gouna, Rouses, and Dakka Marrakchia dancers.
From mesmerising snake charmers to fire eaters, fearless riders on Arab stallions, there are several performances which tell the audience a story of the Moroccan culture and the amazing performer
Discover the city by the ocean
Among the many attractions in Agadir, the Atlantic Palace Casino is definitely one place you cannot afford to miss visiting.
The peaceful ocean and the cool gentle breeze from the waves while walking along the palm tree-fringed avenues is a pleasant feeling.
Whenever you go to the restaurants in Agadir, make sure you spoil yourself with delicious seafood.
