What is Guam best known for?

During our vacations, my friends and I visited the country of Guam.

The country is located in the western Pacific Ocean and we were told that Guam is considered to be the largest state in the Mariana islands.

From what we’ve learned, the country Guam is a systematized property of the United States and it is just one of the five nations the states have in their property.

Guam is considered to be a very popular tourist spot because of its wonderful, tropical beaches.

Since Guam is under the United States territory, when we arrived at the country it had a United States feel to it.

Our trip to the country had been fine and the moment we stepped foot to its soil we were greeted by the warmth embrace of the island’s tropical weather and climate.

Since the country of Guam is under the property of the United States, the place had a United States feel to it.

We booked our hotel at the area of Tumon, a place which is considered to be liveliest and buzziest place of the whole island.

And there is no question about that since the place is where all the hotels and tourists spots are.

I absolutely loved the room we stayed in at our hotel because it had a view of the country’s beautiful beaches.

Guam’s beaches are beautiful, we went to have a little fun at the water and found that the ocean is a little bit shallow.

The whole island’s beach is filled with lots of corals and other sea creatures, like snails, crabs, and other shelled animals.

I and my friends had a great time running around the sand, looking for those creatures and collecting them.

I remember one of my friends putting a small crab in his brother’s shirt, it was totally hilarious.

A memorable trip to Guam

Our trip to Guam was really fun and we had a blast doing a lot of things.

My cousin who is addicted to golf suggested we play the game in one of the country’s world class golf courses and we did just that.

What we didn’t know about the country before we got there was that the place was truly a paradise for golfers.

The golf courses in Guam were all designed for professionals to improve their skills and pick up their game.

Although, it is also for regulars and beginners, like myself.

In fact, Guam’s golf courses are for everyone who wants to enjoy a good game of golf.

Besides its challenging and entertaining courses, Guam’s golf courses are also very well known for their beautiful and breathtaking sceneries.

We were truly impressed by the perfectly manicured grass and the verdant tropical jungle rested on ocean cliffs with heart clutching views of the ocean.

On the next day of our trip I suggested that we enjoy our time by exploring Guam’s beautiful reefs and exotic marine life.

We had an underwater trip, courtesy of Atlantis Adventures.

It was the first time we had ever ridden a real life submarine and we were very excited.

I mean, excited couldn’t even begin to cover how we felt the moment our vessel started sinking in the ocean.

Our tour began with boat ride from Atlantis docks to the dive site at Aqua Marine World.

The boat ride didn’t take long; it was probably a ten minute boat ride, and we were there before we knew it.

Words can’t even begin to describe the beauty and wonder we saw, and we saw a lot.

Guam’s marine life is truly remarkable and beautiful.

There was something about experiencing the splendor and wonder of nature that close and we were all completely overwhelmed by being so near that said wonder.

There is simply no describing the thrill and excitement and awe we felt.

A memorable trip to Guam

There was a moment in our vacation that I and my friends will never forget and that was when we pet a coconut crab.

The coconut crab is known to be the largest land-dwelling arthropod in the world and that is a rightful title considering that all coconut crabs weigh 9 lbs and they are at least 4 ft.

in length.

The coconut crab is of grayish color and it is spotted with other colors and a mix of greed and red.

At first we were a little, ok we were a lot, afraid to touch the animal because we were scared that it may pinch us or bite us but we were told that the coconut crab are actually very friendly and tame creatures.

In fact, we found out that some of the locals even keep coconut crabs as domestic pets.

Despite coconut crabs roaming everywhere in the country of Guam, they are actually endangered species and people in that country are very protective of them.

A memorable trip to Guam

The next adventure on our agenda was visiting El Mirador.

The history of this place really got our attention.

I and my friends were told that El Mirador was once an important and major Mayan

city that thrived and flourished

in the 6th century BC but it was tragically abandoned and forgotten during the 9th century.

After many, many years, the forgotten ruins of El Mirador were rediscovered in 1926.

Our time in El Mirador truly was an adventure for me and my fellow travelers.

I think it’s safe to say that the forests of El Mirador are definitely not for the weak and most certainly not for the faint of heart.

We spent hours hiking up a trail that was surrounded with green and lush forest.

Though the hike through the trails of El Mirador was very difficult, we had to battle a bunch of insects all the way there, but looking at the beauty and wonder of the forest of El Mirador, the trip there was worth it.

After our hiking adventure in the thrilling forest of El Mirador, we decided to move on to see explore the town of Livingston.

The town of Livingston is very well hidden in the country of Guam and only a few people

outside of the country about it.

It is a very unfamiliar town.

Livingston is a hidden gem tucked away in on the country’s Caribbean coast.

To travel there we had to ride a boat and ride through the clear and crystalline waters of Guam.

The

town of Livingston is Guam’s main spot for tourists

, such as me and my friends, to experience the country’s true culture.

We had a lot of fun spending our time in Livingston.

The town is very charming and it reminded me a lot of my own country.

Though Guam is considered an America – like country, some of the sceneries in Livingston had some similarities of Philippines.

I and my companions enjoyed tasting the local food and listening to the town’s local music.

Our vacation was far from over and we spent the next few days exploring more of the country’s brilliance and visiting more of its favored spots.

We had another ocean related adventure when I, along with my companions, went to Fish Eye Marine Park.

Visiting the popular tour spot was a really great experience for all of us.

Fish Eye Marine Park is filled with a lot of beautiful and exotic marine creatures.

We were given the chance to observe the beautiful sea animals through an underwater observatory.

We visited the place just before sunset and we were glad we did because we got to experience a totally awesome cruise and we even got to play around with some adorable and friendly dolphins.

Guam is a truly beautiful country with a lot to offer.

From its exotic animals and striking creatures, to its warm sandy beaches and its lush green forests, spending your vacation here will certainly be the time well spent.
