As you plan a trip to Thailand, make sure to go through this list for all the amazing things to do in Cha-Am:

Mrigadayavan Palace

Totally worth a visit, the Mrigadayavan Palace is a beautiful palace, right besides the sea.

First and the foremost things is that when you reach here, make sure that you are appropriately dressed.

The knees and the shoulders need to be covered for religious and revering reasons.

Every November they have a festival here and it is highly recommended to visit this palace during this season.

A huge teak building which has long and narrow hallways to flaunt, a winter festival is a delight.

The palace was actually built for the King and the Queen and the serene quiet and calmness of the area makes all the room delightful and strange in their own ways.

You need to be around the stilts to make the best of the sea breezes and there are many spots from where you can capture the perfect picture.

Though each person who is visiting the place can go and walk up to the area, you would have to wait for your turn to go there.

Mrigadayavan Palace

The authorities do not allow a crowd to climb up together.

This is basically done to maintain the weight on the structures to keep preserving the rich heritage.

There are also some small shops and shopping areas that are here and they have beautiful things that you could buy to take back home as gifts and souvenirs.

You are asked to cover your shoulders before you go in as a mark of respect to the Royal family and this is a wonderful place to spend a good day right next to the beach.

Surprisingly, while most of the structures in the area seem to be covered up and sheltered, this place seems to run open right till the tides can touch the structures.

Constructed in the colonial style mostly, it has plush gardens surrounding it and is well maintained.

The entire palace itself is built in wood and of a sizable magnitude.

You can visit the rooms for having a good idea about the royal luxuries in the area.

You will admire the simplicity and the grandeur of this place.

A must visit with your family to feel the royalty for some time.
