Yes, you can vacation on Pitcairn Island, I had a great time in Pitcairn Islands with my boyfriend where he actually proposed for our marriage.
It was very wonderful to enjoy the nature, sailing, clubs, museums, history and much more.
This is why am very delighted to share my great experience in this heavenly place where I spent an unforgettable time in my life with someone very special to me.
My boyfriend suggested this after doing detailed research about the place.
He already made his mind that Pitcairn Islands is the place to make his love known to me because it is a place full of memories are great history.
We were also glad to make the history our marriage in this wonderful place.
We had booked a boat earlier to take us to this great Island and sailing in a boat was an incident of nobility to us.
Getting to Pitcairn Island requires that you use a boat to sail through the waters as you move to the Island.
It is a superior experience that no one can afford to miss.
The crew was just perfect doing everything at our own pace with what we desired to have.
That was the best crew I’ve ever worked with. Everything was organized and they were on time as we specified. It was such a wonderful journey as we looked at the Pacific Ocean with such amazement and admired the Nature of creations. The boat was in a wonderful condition and well kept.
There is essentially no any other way of getting to Pitcairn Islands except through the endless blue ocean which is cool and very admirable to sail through. This is because Pitcairn Islands is in remote with no airstrip and landing there can also be a problem.
We have lived in towns for most parts of our lives and my sweet boyfriend just wanted a change of environment for us to enjoy the nature to its fullness. So, that was his main motive for choosing this significant Island as a place to make his marriage proposal to me.
We decided to move to French Polynesia after having a great time on the Island. We took about two and half days in the say moving from Pitcairn Islands to French Polynesia where we first arrived in atoll called Fakarava which is known to be one of the biggest atoll lagoons in Polynesia. We made a stop here to have some good time in this place.
Fakarava has some good beaches and old buildings with a few resorts for your comfort. It was a great adventure as we walked along the road, budged to some beaches where we saw beautiful corals and fish. It was a wonderful place to be in with beach cafes and even available Wi-Fi internet in this remote kind of place.
I was very surprised at the advancement and programs that they have made to make the visitors comfortable and happy.
We decided to move to Bora Bora, the most beautiful lagoon I’ve ever known in the whole world.
It actually took us another one day to get to Bora Bora and this made me realise how slow but awesome travelling through the sea can be.
The waters there are crystal clear with very dazzling blue and green hues in them.
My boyfriend had already made some advance arrangements without informing me because he wanted it to be a surprise.
He organized with the tours people to take us around to see different sites in this entire Island and we spent several hours there.
There were eel, octopus, rays and fish that you can really admire to see.
We also took several pictures that were just splendid.
We even visited the Lagoonarium with a separate fishing area and I even tried to do some fishing around.
There are also a lot of fish within the sea life in the natural that you can enjoy to have a great time with and the water is very clear.
We moved to a certain marvellous restaurant called Bloody Mary’s restaurant.
To get there, you have to board a sightseeing bus that takes people around the Island to drop you at the hotel for a drink or some lunch.
We ordered some drinks and food and this is where my boyfriend pulled out the ring and knelt down on his knees asking me “will you marry me?” It was a great tour that I’ll never forget.
It was time to make the next move to a different place as people engaged now and our next visit was the Moorea. This is actually an Inland Island with great Inland activities to enjoy. It has very outstanding interior for a walk and sightseeing.
We contracted this great ATV’s Moorea Tours who knew everything about the place.
It took us about two and half hours to get to this place but it was worth the travel.
We went off the main road into the hills and up the mountain climbing as we held each other’s hands since the love had grown bigger this time with a ring in my hand.
It was such a great fun going through these beautiful sights. At one point, I became tired climbing the hill but I could not stop because of the desire to see more of this place. We had some drinks in one of the nearby hotels at the beach side restaurants where we also had our lunch. The food here is quite delicious and the whole thing was amazing.
The port area is the best place to walk along and so we made an effort to move to Papeete, Tahiti just about one kilometer from Moorea. It took us about two hours to reach Tahiti, the tropical island paradise on earth.
It is a very large Island that is very populated. It has very wonderful seaside restaurants with very beautiful settings.
We wanted to do some great shopping for the jewelleries since I already started to think of my wedding and what I would wear during the occasion. So we went to have a good Tahitian shopping in the mall where I bought some ideal jewellery at a very affordable price.
This place was quite a great idea that my husband made and I still congratulate him for that. I am actually looking forward to going back there with him just to remind ourselves of good romantic times that we had in this place.
We also moved to Phoenix and Line Islands. These are the greatest atolls that re submerged in the central part of the Pacific Ocean. The sailing was such a great happiness being in the boat as we enjoyed moving along the Pacific Ocean and viewing the magical blue waters.
The Island was quite a magnificent place to visit with the sights that you can get glued to while watching its nature. I got so attracted to the sights and I made a promise to go back and have more adventure in such places next time.
Everything was quite in place and we enjoyed the tour. The hotels were wonderful and we actually spent a very romantic night in one of the restaurants in the beachside. Visiting Pitcairn Islands is something that no one should miss in life.
You cannot miss to go through the Pacific Ocean to the great island. There is nature and sightseeing that you can never find anywhere else in this world. I can’t wait for our next visit to Pitcairn Islands.
