Is New York More Diverse than London?

Have you heard people argue, “Is New York more diverse than London?

” I often argue with my sibling about why I believe New York is more diverse than London.

The argument does not end with a win because every one of us has solid points why each city could be the winner.

However, I have made a list of some of the diverse cities in the world.

Is New York <a href=

In the end, I will make the decision of which of these cities is the most diverse.

New York City

Time Square, New York City,

in the USA

, is the most multicultural country in the world.

I believe no one will be surprised that New York, popularly called the “Big Apple,” is among the most diverse cities in the world?

Who doesn’t want to settle in New York?

With blocks full of people from all walks of life, and all types of backgrounds, you can find your place in this city.

You can find delis in different parts of New York, not forgetting pizza.

As one of the first majorly developed cities, the city has grown to a place where small businesses and many companies call home.

The diversity of the city has made it easy for property to grow in value.

It should also not surprise us that it is a state in the country that is most multicultural in the world.

It is a state that harbors the highest number of immigrants worldwide.

Only about 35% of people living in New York are born outside America.

Every day, people speak more than 800 languages in New York.

People in this state see friends with people from other countries as a normal way of life.

Which

district is the most multicultural in New York city

?

The most multicultural city in America is Queens.

It is also the urban area where you have the most ethnic diversity in the whole world.

New York allows you to explore its nook and cranny without difficulty.

You can perfectly blend with the residents whenever you visit.

New York has some of the best museums,  professional sports teams, and theaters all around the city.

Not forgetting that the nightlife is vibrant and continues past 4 in the morning.

Coming to New York gives you that comfort and peace you desire from any city in the United States.

There are not many places that have such a rich and diverse culture such as New York.

Finally, I love New York for its special attributes and beauty.

That is a one of a kind place that will always have a special place in people’s hearts.

 London

After New York, we have

London when it comes to the percentage population

of immigrants.

London is more diverse than any other city in Europe.

It is among the most multicultural cities in the world.

From the 1950s onwards, the city London

accommodated a large number of immigrants, largely from Commonwealth countries such as Nigeria, Jamaica, India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan

.

The influx of migrants dramatically changed the face of London and transformed the

city into one of the most diverse

cities in Europe.

In addition, London has become more ethnically diverse than other regions.

The White British accounted for 43.

4% of London’s

population compared with 78.

4% for England

and Wales overall.

Furthermore, excluding White British, the most common ethnic groups in London were Other White (14.

6%), Black African (7.

9%), and Indian (7.

0%).

In London, more than 300 languages are spoken every day, yet statues, plaques and street names don’t reflect the capital’s diverse population and history.

Bangladeshis, Pakistanis, and Indians are of minority immigrant population in London.

If you move around the city of London you will discover that they practice their culture in the city and at the same time blend with the lifestyle in the British Isles.

There are many Asian shops in London, and Londoners proudly talk about Indian delicacies in London city.

However, we will not limit you to these cultures only.

People from different parts of the world are attracted to London, and more than 30% of people living in it were born outside the United Kingdom.

United Kingdom is one of the most multicultural countries

in the world.

The calmness and uniqueness of London make the city appealing and exciting to visit.

Whether you want to live or visit London, the city offers you comfort and safety.

The vibrant city that prides itself on how well its people live together in peace, notwithstanding their cultural and religious differences.

It is also a center for experts.

My Opinion

It is good to have access to food, art, and traditions from other cultures of the world.

However, learning the peoples’ language is the best way to integrate yourself into them.

London and New York offers you this opportunity.

Imagine, hearing people speaking the Hindu language in an Indian restaurant, speaking Mandarin to a shop owner in Chinatown, or the ability to have a conversation with your Mexican neighbors in their local language in a city.

In my opinion, New York is more diverse than London because of the number of immigrants from different parts of the world.

London and New York are great cities to visit because they are more

accommodating than most cities in the world

.

If you must choose between the two cities, which of them will be your choice?
