St Kitts and Nevis is known for many lovely quiet mountains, alluring castles, beaches and gorgeous hotels and restaurants that have been major contributors towards attracting large hordes of tourists from every corner of the world.
Our wildlife club leader had promised us a visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis, and barely a week passed when he surprised us with flight tickets to Saint Kitts and Nevis.
We were fully obsessed with great thoughts and imaginations of the many beauties he had spent days explaining to us that had made the Island a popular tourist destination.
Though the smallest state of America, Saint Kitts and Nevis is a wonderful Island with versatile attractions.
The atmosphere and landscape on the island are precious and perfect.
The many wonderful attractions we had fun exploring and the great satisfaction we obtained left me with a great desire to appreciate and extol the captivating Island.
We set forth on our journey to adventure at the amusing historic site, the Brimstone Hill Fortress.
The fort is also christened the Gibraltar of the Caribbean.
The site was scenic.
We started with a tough ascent of the 800 meters spectacular mountain.
The path was really sloppy but enjoyable.
We cherished every minute we were climbing up.
At the mountain’s summit, many wonders lay unfolded. We enjoyed walking in this fort admiring its beautiful amazing structure. In it was a little museum with lots of displayed panels that revealed to us much on the historical Caribbean wars that had taken place between the Dutch, British, and French among other famous countries.
It was a great experience trespassing through this beauty. The fort too offered placid and breathtaking views of the surrounding environs. We loved the site very much and we were happy that our visit had started well.
We then advanced to the stunning Palms Court Garden. We could hardly believe that such beauties were not yet known to us. The place welcomed us with some charming, cool music, a tranquil atmosphere and much singing of the many birds that were probably adventuring the beautiful garden. The garden had lots of things to marvel at.
We enjoyed admiring and buying the beautiful and formidable seashells that were fabulously displayed. This experience was beyond our expectation. We liked it very much. The views from the garden of the astounding surroundings were great.
We had fun watching the lovely harbor that was in the vicinity and the many attractive sailing ships that had made the waters look more enticing. It was indeed a fantastic moment. Our trip was going perfect.
The dazzling Botanical Gardens of Nevis were next on our adventure list. Everything in the garden looked fabulous. We enjoyed walking through the garden admiring its beauties and at some point we thought we had been taken to a different world.
There were lots of beautiful and well calculated arrangements of thousands of different types of flowers. I particularly liked the lovely bromeliads that I got myself busy picking several of its leaves. The atmosphere was the best with a compelling aroma of the nice looking flowers engulfing the whole garden making it a real paradise.
This experience was great. The trees too were formidable. They looked so well kept and placid green that none of us could think of them dry. It was also a good chance to see the tall captivating Allen palm trees. We had spent several years researching and searching for the palm tree and we were now happy that it was a dream come true.
We enjoyed relaxing under the trees with the many flowers we had picked as we were feeling and comparing their enchanting aroma. This was the best place we ever visited and were absolutely sure of visiting this garden again.
We then advanced our adventure at the mind blogging Mount Liamuiga. This is a high mountain and a dormant volcano. We enthralled climbing the lovely mountain in the company of some two unimpeachable guides who were perfectly fit for their job. They helped us find an easy route to the summit and within no time we had arrived.
The mountain was covered with hoards of attractive plants and charming wildlife that we highly appreciated. We took several photos of the site before descending into the open crater on the mountain that was formed as a result of volcanic activity. It was good being at this spot. The mountain’s interior was more scenic with little grass that had started covering the soil that had been left bare.
We loved this experience as we posed for several photos right in the volcano.
It was indeed a remarkable moment.
We then got ourselves riding the enormous energetic alluring horses on the flat terrain of the mountain.
We were happy that our trip was awesome and kept sending each other joyous smiles and more so to our team leader for his impeccable choice.
We would surely love to visit the mountains again.
Having had great fun at the mountains, we headed straight to the stunning Four Season Golf Course.
It was pleasant standing at this resort.
Everything was perfectly placed.
The buildings embraced the most attractive architectural designs.
The rooms were very welcoming.
We all participated in playing several holes where I was very fluky to win over a local at the club.
It was indeed the best moments of our lives.
The restaurants within the grounds were incomparable.
They prepared the best kinds of local foods and the staff served us in a courteous manner that we had never experienced before.
I liked more the way they had prepared their steak and would definitely want a repeat of the same.
Our visit was going great.
Skydiving at the captivating Frigate bay was another merry we would hardly want to circumvent.
This looked more illusory than real.
We started the dive with some two friendly and interactive guides and up in the air we were.
The experience was good.
We enjoyed watching the lovely bay the many other beauties that lay helplessly below us.
The guides were really amazing.
They helped us greatly and willingly in learning some tips on excellent skydiving and more on jumping off the little planes.
It was really wonderful.
We also mesmerized taking live charming videos of all we saw.
This experience will remain engulfed at the back of my mind.
The most interesting moment that came afterwards was when the guides let us go alone up in the sky.
We could hardly believe the scene as none of us had gone skydiving before.
We were however grand that we managed the test.
It was one the greatest place we had visited.
Finally we finished our fabulous adventure at the meticulous Clay Villa Plantation and Garden.
The site was more of a little heaven.
We enjoyed walking through the vast garden full of amusing flowers, lovely trees with good shade and much foliage that had covered the whole territory.
The owner Philip was awesome.
He guided us through inspiring us with much history of the plantation that we were greatly overwhelmed with an irresistible urge to practice the same back at our homes.
We were also astonished to learn that the whole beauty belonged to the family of Philip and Bridget.
It was a breathtaking moment being in these compelling gardens.
There were also a charming gift shop from where we had a good time admiring and buying the many enthralling items that were on display.
The garden too housed a poignant and lovely Cellar Pub where we merrily enjoyed the sweet and well prepared brew.
It’s great being in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The state can only be defined as an impeccable tourism destination.
We would surely consider it for a second visit.
