Saint Lucia is best known for its volcanoes, beaches,  waterfalls and stunning nature.

My mum had promised me of a visit to the Saint Lucia Island once the school holidays came and since they were at hand, we booked a freight trip to the amazing Island.

Saint Lucia is a beautiful Island within the eastern side of the Caribbean Sea and flanking the great Atlantic Ocean.

Saint Lucia Island is full of wonderful attractions that will leave you wanting to visit it many more times.

There are oodles of attractive beaches, lovely parks and likewise to the numerous different kinds of water activities.

It also has a good and peaceful atmosphere to enjoy and relax in.

Having barely amassed its versatile wonders, we experienced the best tourism all our life and this left me with a great yearning to share the experience to many as well as extol the beauties abhorred by the stunning Island.

A remarkable trip to Saint Lucia

We started off from the captivating Pigeon Island National Park.

The park was the most scenic beauty on earth.

It had two beautiful white beaches;

an informative and captivating Interpretation Center and a charming tavern that offered anything you would want.

We started at the beautiful and uniquely designed Interpretation Center.

We had an alluring experience observing and learning lots of information about the attractively displayed historical relics from the many social guides we found at the center.

It looked more of a video show.

We then progressed to the lovely sandy beaches.

At the first one, we walked leisurely admiring the many blue waves that kept forming each minute.

It was indeed a remarkable moment and we were grand that our visit had started on a high note.

We then toured the second nice looking white sandy beach.

It was matchless as we had never seen one of its kind.

We took much of time in the enticing relatively warm waters before lazing around on the exhibited beautiful beach.

The atmosphere too was the best.

It was so serene that we hardly wanted to leave the beach.

Our visit was surely worthwhile.

The Cellar Olde English Pub was a must to visit before leaving the park.

We had a great time enjoying much of the well made rum and a few fishes.

This experience was great.

We then headed to the stunning Diamond Botanical Baths.

There were lots of kinds of vegetation that covered the entire land making it so green and attractive.

We enjoyed walking through the baths admiring and touching the good looking plants.

More so the bath’s grounds had lots of enticing waterfalls. We enjoyed watching white like misty water fall over them to the underlying pools. The ecosystem within the bath’s area was serene.

It freely offered us a breathtaking moment.

We also had a good time learning from the wonderful guides we found more history about the baths as we learnt that their construction was meant to convulse some French combatant in the close proximity.

It was indeed a great adventure.

We took several photos and relaxed in there for some time to feel more of the compelling atmosphere.

We would certainly visit the baths again.

The dazzling Derek Walcott Square was next on our venture list.

The square was so inviting and displayed lots of attractions.

The outstanding civic library displayed its beautiful exterior and interior layout in a manner that suggested it to be a nice study area.

We walked inside where lots of surprises were awaiting us.

There were thousands of large and small books all with different sorts of stories.

We took some of our precious time to study them and inquire much about the great study room.

The scenic Cathedral of Immaculate Conception was another wonder in the square.

Its external and interior architectural plans were impressive.

It looked so nice and was worth several photos.

We also learnt from some locals that it had been dubbed the name after a Nobel Laureate who had won a Nobel Prize for literature.

It was indeed a great place to tour.

The square also offered a relaxing sensation as the atmosphere was cool and tranquil.

We loved everything it offered and we were full of joy that our visit was going well.

Having had a great time touring the beautiful Island we advanced for a whole night Jazz fiesta.

It stood out over all other festivals we had witnessed.

We enjoyed watching the Jazz dancers do their best styles.

We further had a full plate of fun when we joined in the memorable dance.

It was beyond any doubt the best experience in our lifetime.

We learnt that most of the very famous musicians such as Diana Rose had put their feet in this historical event.

The carnival restaurants were amazing.

We found the great merry enjoying the best of the island foods and drinks that were surely prepared by professional cooks.

I basically loved their enigmatic traditional food and so we hired one of the attendants who got us learning how to make them.

Our visit was getting beyond our expectations and we loved it very much.

The enchanting and fabulous Sulphur Springs were a must to visit before leaving the beautiful Island.

At the time of our arrival, we found hard time to trespass as there were large crowds of tourists who had already flocked around the fascinating place.

We also had a wonderful chance to gaze at the amazing crater and distinctive activity of a volcano which has really made this place extensively known worldwide.

We actually prolonged our time at this place in order to enjoy the pleasure and warmth that was discharged from the springs.

Afterwards, we took a bath to fully interact with the warm water from the springs, which according to locals was traditionally believed to have some cure and some other health reimbursement.

This was a good place to completely intermingle and appreciate the exceptional nature.

We also marveled at its rare and unique landscape design and several volcanic activities which were taking place that left us wondering.

The Atlantic Ocean Coasts were yet another place to enjoy the best sorts of water activities specifically at the Marine Park.

This was an excellent place to be.

There were several activities that were taking place.

They were so amusing that none of us could think of not participating in them.

We enjoyed windsurfing in an enticing and well painted boat.

The feeling we obtained was so moving.

We also witnessed several individuals competing in a water skiing race.

They all looked very skillful as no – one got stuck or overturned in the waters.

Our trip was surely the best.

We then got to another spectacular fun diving in the warm unruffled waters where we got rid of the many tiresome thoughts we had as we had scarcely covered the beautiful sites.

It was a park certain of a second visit.

We finally ceased our delightful expedition at the beautiful Marigot Bay.

It is one of the most interesting and amiable bays in the Caribbean and thus attracts many popular filmmakers.

The polite and charismatic nature of its surroundings was brought about by the neighboring forested area.

We couldn’t leave this cordial place before having fun with its friendly and interactive shores.

We did some fishing at its shore line, sun basking and swimming. This was one of our first shores to visit and actually we couldn’t leave anything a chance.

We took several photographs to have the place in our memory in some days to come.

This was certainly one of the amicable places and we vowed to visit it again in our next holiday.

Saint Lucia Island was worth a second visit.
