10 Days in Paradise: The Perfect Florida Itinerary for a Memorable Vacation

View More ->

Florida is one of the most popular places on Earth, and many people have chosen it for a decent vacation.

People are happy to leave a lot of money here.

Florida is worth it.

  • Here, vacationers are waiting for the piercing blue of the Atlantic Ocean.
  • The sun envelops the rays, giving the tan a special color and charm.
  • Golden sand is able to restore physical strength without difficulty and for a long time.
  • Ideally, clean beaches bring peace and tranquility.

Our 10-Day Plan in Florida. How was that?

During our trip to Florida, we stopped for a few days in Miami and Naples, and from there we went to Lavers Key Park, a place with a romantic name, popular for beautiful wedding ceremonies on white sandy beaches along the picturesque shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

Days 1-2 in Miami

The city is located on the territory of Biscayne Bay on several islands.

Luxurious palm trees are located along the embankments.
We visited the famous Art Deco quarter with the world’s largest panorama of unique buildings, including bright, comfortable hotels with impeccable service.
We also went to the shopping centers of the city, which are many and will not leave tourists indifferent; Coco Walk and Aventura Mall are especially impressive.
We tried chic Latin American cuisine.

We understood what nightclub life is like there.

From my experience, I know that the best hotels in prestigious areas of the city are located in the most convenient places:

All these conditions conducive to comfortable rest, multiplied by the mild, subtropical climate, warm, caressing water, magnificent sun, and golden sand, eloquently answer the question of why vacationers love Miami so much.

Day 3 – Airboat Tours of the Everglades

This tour took us a whole day.

The Everglades National Reserve is the world’s largest freshwater jungle swamp, filled with rare tropical plants and mangroves.

Tours on flat-bottomed airboats, which are able to climb into the thicket, are popular here.

These swamps are home to 950 plant species, of which 65 are native and endemic to southern Florida.

Scientists have found 25 species of orchids, 120 species of trees, and three different types of mangroves here.

Such a trip is an ideal introduction to the flora and fauna of South Florida, complemented by beautiful and unusual views.

Day 4. The city of Naples for hiking and cycling tours

To stretch the muscles stiff in the car, we went on a hike and then a bike tour.

There are several routes: the same Everglades, the city of Naples (its historical center), and Marco Island.

If you don’t have a bike, you can rent one.

Additionally, you can invite a guide—a specialist in the flora and fauna of the region.

Naples is a very quiet place.

People move around the city in shiny convertibles; they are not in a hurry, and they live the day slowly, as if they are stretching out the pleasure.

Even the water in the Gulf of Mexico does not worry over trifles; the sea is warm and calm.

The city is home to the famous Naples Pier, a pier specially built in 1888 for ships that brought potential property buyers here.

Many people enjoy fishing here.

This does not require a license, and the pier itself is equipped with special tables where you can wash and clean the catch.

There are a lot of pelicans in the area, which are so insolent that they are trying to pick the fish from the fishermen right off the fishing rod.

Days 5.6 photoshoots at Lovers Key Park

The highlight for me was Lovers Key Park.

Before, only lovers tried to get to this secluded island—hence the name Lovers’ Key.

But even after the road was built in 1965 and getting there became much easier, the romance of this place has not disappeared.

This is a wild beach with white sand, overlooking the skyscrapers of Fort Myers, and with snags thrown ashore.

Perfect for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds and for photo shoots.

Lovers Key State Park is one of Florida’s natural parks, located between the cities of Naples and Fort Myers in the Bonita Springs region on three barrier islands: Black Island, Inner Key, and Long Key.

Lavers Key is home to many different species of birds and animals, including American eagles, manatees, bottlenose dolphins, egrets, and raccoons, as well as flying fish.

We arrived at Lovers Key Park in the morning, left the car in the parking lot, and walked around its territory until about lunch.

While walking along the Eagle Trail on Black Island, we were nearly bitten by mosquitoes.

And then we drove to a calm, wild beach on the Gulf of Mexico, where we really enjoyed sitting in the shade and watching the waves and coastal birds.

Days 7/8. Clearwater Resorts

Then we went to the best resorts in Florida—Clearwater and St.

Petersburg.

Quiet and peaceful environment surrounded by greenery, fresh air, gated communities, golf courses, yacht clubs, and beautiful beaches—to this day, America’s most successful and wealthy retirees move there.

Clearwater is, of course, the most typical beach resort, replicated by thousands in Thailand, so that Americans can come to an unfamiliar country and not get lost, so that it is clear: here is the pier, here is the bar street, here is the hotel, and here to buy beach accessories and postcards home.

Next to Clearwater is another beach park, Honeymoon Island.

Not far from large hotels, but closer to nature.

A little wild, but cute.

An excellent choice for those who want fewer people and know where to walk.

As for me, it’s better to relax in such places if you come for the whole day with a picnic basket and a beach umbrella.

Days 9-10 Sarasota

Returning south, we stopped in the town of Sarasota.

In addition to being known for having the best beach in the US (Siesta Beach has won this title for many years in a row), this is where we found our personal paradise in Florida.

This is Lido Key Beach on Lido Key.

This is a deserted beach with soft sand and clear water; here you can swim without worrying about waves, and the sunset is gentle.
We liked it so much that we had to change the route in order to stay one more day in Sarasota.

And since we found “our” ideal beach, we decided that someday we would come for a month.

Nearby is the beautiful town of Venice, which struck me with its sprawling oaks, just like in Savannah in Georgia.

What is The Best Month to Vacation in Florida?

November, March, and May are the best months for vacations in Florida.

Considering all the weather conditions of this region, it is best to relax here in the off-season.

During this period, the weather will be comfortable for relaxing and swimming, and prices will not be too high.

What is The Cheapest Month To Go to Florida?

From mid-March to mid-May or from the second half of October to November.

What is the Number One Vacation Spot in Florida?

Miami!

In addition to relaxing on the beaches of Miami, this is a real holiday not only for children but also an occasion for their parents to return to childhood and remember their first impressions of the world of Disney.

Conclusion:

We spent 10 days on the beaches of Florida.

So we saw everything that we would like to see.

But even this was enough for us to get a versatile idea of this state and determine for ourselves which places we would like to visit again.

Everyone says Florida is heaven.

Whoever you ask, everyone wants to live there.

Well, there are always exceptions, right?

These are some of us.

Florida is endlessly musical (almost all American Latin that you hear on the radio and watch on TV is recorded here), and it is an eternal holiday under the warm sun and in amusement parks.

For the sake of life in paradise, people betray and leave their families, striving for the life they dreamed of.

But time shows that we will find them with nothing later.

Florida is very expensive, as you know, both financially and mentally.

I hope you enjoyed my review for today!
