Dans Gallas was resided by the Ethiopians (Gallas) who were released on Mahe in the 19th century after the British Navy’s liberation.

The length is 2km and the change in altitude is 310m while the duration of the journey takes 2h 30 mins.

Le Niol – Mare Aux Cochons Marsh – Danzil. It is 7.9 km and only one way. The altitude change is close to 470m. Visitors see the distillery ruin that was once producing the cinnamon oil in commercial quality.

Route 2A

Le Niol- Mare Aux Cochons Marsh-Le Niol. It is 9.6km in length and it is the same route when returning. The altitude change is from 270m up and down to 470m.

 Le Niol – Glacis d’antins – Le Niol. The length is 8.6km and the route back is the same. The altitude change is up 400m down 400m. The attraction includes seeing the mist forest.

Route 3A

 Le Niol – Mare Aux Cochons Marsh – Port Glaud

The length of this route is 7.7 km and the northerly route is one way. The altitude change is up 270m down 470m. The interest includes seeing the old bridge, crossing the river, and seeing the distillery ruins.

Route 3B

 Le Niol – waterfall and cave – Port Glaud

The length of the route is 7.2km with a southerly route that is one way. The altitude change is up 270m down 470m. Side attractions are cave and river sight-seeing.

Route 4

 Port Glaud – Mare Aux Cochons marsh – waterfall and cave. The distance length is 7.8km and it is a circular route. The altitude change is up 470m down 470m. The river and cave are what to see.

d.           Anse Major: Nature Trail

Visitors can combine relaxation and walk here. There is a beach that is located at the mouth of a stream, which is called ‘Riviere Major’, this is what brought the name, Anse Major.

e.           Morne Blanc : Nature Trail

This trail involves climbing the Morne Seychellois National Park to the top of a mountain that is characterized by the cloud forest.

f.            Copolia: Nature Trail

The trail takes visitors to the Copolia summit. Visitors and come to a point where they can have views towards the Ste Anne Island and the East Coast.

g.           Mission Lodge: natural trails at Morne Seychellois Park
