What is the Safest and Cheapest Caribbean Island?

View More ->

Every year, tourists and expats gather in the Caribbean.

However, some people tend to choose other destinations for their vacation because they believe that the Caribbean is too expensive, but this does not hold water in some places.

I have visited some of the finest

islands in the Caribbean

, and I spend less.

Thus, I think the cheapest islands depend on what you want to do.

Before you decide to live or purchase a property in the Caribbean, I have listed some of the safest and cheapest places.

What is the safest and cheapest Caribbean island?

Grenada

is the safest and cheapest  island to visit.

Compared to

other islands, Grenada

has recorded relatively low crime levels and they are also known for their low cost of living.

Here in Grenada, you are offered an intoxicating taste of the Old

Caribbean

.

This island is abundant in cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and cocoa and has even been nicknamed, “the Spice Island”

Thanks to the rich culture in this island, it is also the best choice for tourists who are looking for a genuine and enjoyable Caribbean experience.

It is very easy to fall l in love with Grenada’s classic charm and

Caribbean beauty

.

I mean there are colorful seaside villages, plantations, mushy cloaked mountains and rainforests on the island.

In addition, I like the beautiful beaches lined with flamboyant trees and frangipani.

Maybe, that’s the reason why I feel in love with Grenada at first sight.

St George’s is the capital of Grenada

and is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited in the Caribbean.

If you’re up for an adventure, I recommend that you island hop to the quieter islands of Carriacou and Petite

Martinique

, which are situated off the northeast coast of the island.

Most times when I come here, I  spend time in the Grand Anse Beach , which happens to be one of the best

beaches in the Caribbean

.

Regardless, Grenada is known to offer more things than just bathing in the warm sun and sand.

I am intrigued by the waterfalls in the island’s interior, the coral reefs that run the coast where I can swim, fish, dive and snorkel and also the hiking trails, which thread into the lush rainforest.
