American Express’s lounge finder ↗Which airport lounges you can get into depends on three things: the cards you hold, the airport, and the airline you fly that day. The Platinum Card opens Centurion Lounges and Priority Pass lounges on any airline, but Delta Sky Clubs only on a Delta flight; the Sapphire Reserve opens Chase’s own lounges and Priority Pass; the Venture X, Capital One’s. Tick your cards and pick your airport to see every lounge you can walk into today.
How to use it
Tick every card you hold, pick your airport and the airline you fly today, and say how many guests come with you. The answer lists, card by card, each lounge there that it opens (with its terminal), the ones it opens only on another airline, what your guests cost and the catch — the visit cap, the time before departure, the Basic Economy rule. Lounges a card does not open today sit under “Not today”, with the reason. The link under the answer keeps your choices, so you can send it to whoever you fly with.
What each card opens, side by side
Each card’s rules as its issuer and the lounge network state them, read on 10 October 2026. “Flying on” is the airline your boarding pass must show that day; guest prices are for an adult.

The visit caps: since 1 February 2025 the Platinum Card gives 10 Delta Sky Club visits a year and the Delta Reserve card 15, each unlimited after $75,000 of purchases on the card in a calendar year — Delta’s own words. The lounges at each airport come from the networks’ own lists: American Express’s lounge finder, Priority Pass’s airport pages, Chase’s, Capital One’s and American’s club pages, and United’s club list.
No card? What a day pass costs
Tick No card — day pass to see what each lounge at your airport sells to anyone with a boarding pass, in each network’s own words. American sells an Admirals Club One-Day Pass for $79 (or 7,900 AAdvantage miles), online or at select clubs, with a same-day flight on American or a oneworld airline, and may stop selling them when a club is full. United sells a United Club one-time pass in the United app — its club pages print no price — for a same-day United, Star Alliance or partner flight, to use within three hours of departure. Capital One Lounges and Landings take anyone at the standard rate of $90 a visit, except at Dallas/Fort Worth, where passes are for Capital One cardholders only. Delta no longer sells Single Visit Passes to the Delta Sky Club, and the Centurion Lounge and Chase’s lounges sell no pass at all.
Denver, no card, one guest, any airline. Yes — 1 lounge at Denver (DEN): the Capital One Lounge, $180 for the two of you ($90 a pass each); the Admirals Club and the United Club too, on the right airline.
Dallas/Fort Worth, no card. Flying American: Yes — 5 lounges at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) — the 5 Admirals Clubs at $79 a pass. Flying Delta: No day pass to buy at DFW today — Capital One sells passes there to its cardholders only, and Delta no longer sells Sky Club passes.

Common mistakes
- Flying the wrong airline. The Delta Sky Club wants a same-day Delta flight from Platinum and Delta Reserve Card Members; the United Club, a United or Star Alliance flight; the Admirals Club, American or oneworld.
- Not enrolling in Priority Pass. The Platinum Card and the Venture X include it, but you enroll first; Chase enrolls Sapphire Reserve cardmembers itself.
- Counting on free guests. Guests pay at the Centurion Lounge ($50) and the Capital One Lounge ($45) until you spend $75,000 a year on the card; Venture X guests in Priority Pass lounges pay $35.
- Arriving too early. The Centurion Lounge, Chase’s lounges and Priority Pass with a Sapphire Reserve take you within 3 hours of your departure (Sidecar at Las Vegas: 90 minutes).

FAQ
Which credit cards give airport lounge access?
In the US: the Platinum Card from American Express (Centurion Lounges, Priority Pass, Delta Sky Clubs on Delta flights), the Chase Sapphire Reserve (Chase Sapphire Lounges, Priority Pass), the Capital One Venture X (Capital One Lounges, Priority Pass), the Delta SkyMiles Reserve card (Delta Sky Clubs and Centurion Lounges on Delta flights), the United Club Card (United Clubs) and the Citi / AAdvantage Executive card (Admirals Clubs). Which ones help depends on your airport: pick it above.
How do I get into a Delta Sky Club?
With a same-day Delta flight and one of: a Delta Sky Club membership (sold only to Medallion Members), a Delta One ticket, the Delta SkyMiles Reserve card (15 visits a year) or the Platinum Card (10 visits a year). Card members on a Main Basic fare are turned away.
Does Amex Platinum get you into Delta Sky Club?
Yes, on a same-day Delta flight that is not Basic Economy: 10 visits a year (February to January), unlimited after $75,000 of purchases in a calendar year, and $50 a visit after that. Guests pay $50 each, up to 2.
How does Priority Pass lounge access work?
Priority Pass is a membership that opens 1,300+ independent and airline lounges. The Platinum Card, the Sapphire Reserve and the Venture X include one; show the digital card and your boarding pass. Platinum and Sapphire Reserve members bring 2 guests free; Venture X guests pay $35 each.
Can I bring a guest to the Capital One Lounge?
Yes, at $45 per guest 18 and older and $25 for guests 17 and under (under 2 free). Once you spend $75,000 a calendar year on the Venture X, 2 guests come in free at a Capital One Lounge and 1 at a Capital One Landing.
How do I get a United Club pass?
The United Club Card includes a United Club membership (you and one adult guest, plus children under 18), on a same-day United, Star Alliance or partner flight; United Club one-time passes need the same boarding pass and admit no guests.
What does airline lounge access mean?
Entry to an airline’s own club — the Delta Sky Club, the United Club, the Admirals Club — through a membership, a premium ticket, elite status or a co-branded card. Each wants a same-day boarding pass on that airline or its alliance, which is why the airline you fly today decides which ones you can use.
Can you buy a day pass to an airport lounge?
At some: an Admirals Club One-Day Pass is $79 (with a same-day American or oneworld flight), a United Club one-time pass is sold in the United app, and Capital One Lounges take anyone for $90 a visit (not at Dallas/Fort Worth). Delta no longer sells Sky Club passes, and the Centurion Lounge and Chase’s lounges sell none. Tick "No card — day pass" above to see what your airport sells.
