Sometimes tornadoes occur, most often in the west of the state.<\/span><\/p>\n Summers are hot here – the average temperature is +89.6 \u00b0 F(it is noticeably cooler at night), and winters are quite mild – on average, the temperature is -37\u00b0F.<\/span><\/p>\n Summers are coolest in the eastern part of the state, while winters are coldest in mountainous areas.<\/span><\/p>\n Snowstorms sometimes occur in winter.<\/span><\/p>\n Tennessee has a rich history and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n There are many famous attractions here.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0Fans of rock should go to Memphis.<\/span><\/p>\n There is a museum of the legendary Sun label. It recorded Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and other rock and roll stars.<\/span><\/p>\n Among them, the<\/span>Sequoyah Birthplace Museum, dedicated to the leader of the Cherokee tribe, the silversmith Sequoyah. The most famous brand of Tennessee whiskey is Jack Daniels.<\/span><\/p>\n East Tennessee is an eclectic mix of small town charm, mountain views and country music.<\/span><\/p>\n The most attractive place in the state is the<\/span>Great Smoky Mountains National Park.<\/p>\n In 1811-1812, Tennessee was hit by the largest earthquake in American history.<\/span><\/p>\n As a result of this natural disaster, Reelfoot Lake was formed.
