Have you visited Minnesota? What is the most diverse city in Minnesota? I will take you through Minnesota to have an idea of their diversity.

Embarking on a tour of Minnesota, from the lake-laden North Country to the beautiful marble exterior state capital of St. Paul, you will agree with me that Minnesota is rich with natural and cultural beauty.

There are tourist destinations you cannot afford to miss visiting. Some are wilderness areas of Minnesota, including Superior National Forest and the North Shore of Lake Superior.

There are cultural attractions, like the Minneapolis Institute of Art or the outstanding Munsinger Clemens Gardens in St. Cloud, which you will have the opportunity to explore.

You can go wandering down the hiking trails, paddling in the waters, gliding down the ski hills, or shopping at American Mall. Minnesota is bigger than a land of 10,000 lakes.

There are lots of activities that will get you engaged in Minnesota. Go through our list of places to visit to know the top tourist attractions in Minnesota.

Northeast Minnesota is beautified by Superior National Forest, with pristine lakes and rivers. The International Wolf Center is located in a town called Ely. This is a good base where you can explore the city’s beautiful landscape.

Paddlers in the United States and Canada are very conversant with the boundary Waters, Canoe Area Wilderness, located within the forest.

This forest is located along the boundary that divides the two countries. Many backcountry canoes, kayaking trips, and fishing activities are going on here. This location is very remote, and many wild animals like bears, moose, and wolves live here.

National Forest covers more than three million acres. 445,000 acres or almost 700 square miles of this land is made up of water.

Very close to Duluth is The North Shore Scenic Drive. From Duluth, the drive runs through the northern shore of Lake Superior, to Thunder Bay, in Ontario, Canada. You will see a lot of top-class state parks in Minnesota as you drive along this route.

Parks like Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche, and Grand Portage State Park. You will come across great attractions like Waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and a long stretch of what looks like unending Lake Superior.

You can easily access places of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, and ice-fishing, all through the winters along this route.

If you do not like traveling by automobile, there is a more than 300-mile Superior Hiking Trail along the Minnesota shoreline. You can only travel it on foot.

Paddle Voyageurs National Park is not only naturally beautiful but is also associated with history. The park is a backcountry park and can only be accessed by water or air. The park is good for canoeing, boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

Paddle Voyageurs National Park is in a remote location, which is why wildlife is abundant there. You will see bears, moose, loons, and other wildlife you may not have imagined.

During the fur trade, French-Canadian Voyageurs traveled these waters in huge birch bark canoes, making Voyageurs National Park a point of reference in history.

Adventurers who move by boat and those who move by land are everywhere in Voyagers. You will see some of the best campgrounds of Minnesota located along the shores, the same way waterfront Wooden Frog Campground is located.

Very close to Ely is an educational center, The International Wolf Center, that carter for the wellbeing of wolves. In this center, you will see hands-on exhibits, and wolf tracking methods will be demonstrated to you. You will get every kind of information on wolves that you may require.

As a visitor, you will be educated on the natural history of wolves by visiting the resident wolf pack. The International Wolf Center regularly organizes different kinds of programs and other kinds of visitor experiences, such as Wolf Photography Workshops, Geocache Adventures, and overnight visits for groups of eight or more people. You can call in advance to book an appointment for visitation.
