Burgos is a charming city in Spain. It is one of the most attractive places that will make your holidays amusing. Burgos is packed with outstanding attractions that you can hardly assemble in a month’s holiday. There are astounding churches, historical sites, botanical gardens, museums and mausoleums. The atmosphere is also the best you can ever want. Burgos is also very famous for a wonderful landscape and these attractions are just but a few among the many which have continued bringing millions of tourists there. Our visit was incredible as we had a stirring experience. This gave me a great desire to share it to all and sundry who are interested in visiting Burgos to explore its charm.
We started off our exploration from the amazing Burgos Cathedral. We were overwhelmed with joy from the moment we stepped into the church’s ground. Its massive size was awesome and lovely. The Gothic architectural design that was used to plan it was also brilliant. We loved sauntering around its environs capturing it several photos. It surely looked more of a paradise. We toured its inside to have a look at more of its beauties where our eyes almost popped out from the sight of the gorgeous altar right at the front. It was so beautiful and exhibited holy sensation that made us feel very privileged being there. There were also lots of writing on the walls that depicted many notable religious sayings. I loved the experience there and wished to stay a bit longer. The guides too were amazing. Though there were very few who were fluent in English, we loved the efforts of the one who took us around explaining many of the historical facts about the site. We also toured the grave of the famous El Cid. This was just a simple resting place with some lovely flowers and writings. It was however worth of seeing. Our visit had surely started on the right note. We were very happy and certain of more great adventure places.
We then proceeded to the stunning Cartuja de Miraflores to have ourselves more fun. This place was spectacular with almost everything having been carved from gold. It was so beautiful and surprising why a mausoleum would have such valuable items. But this was not by mistake as this was a royal tomb area to the Spanish king, queen and their son. This was the place where the famous Isabella I parents were buried. We showed them royalty by placing some nice looking flowers on their tombs and headed to the art exhibition site. This was a dramatic place to explore. There was lots of enchanting art work displayed at most of its parts. I was especially amused by the woodwork that was truly worthy of seeing. We moved around in the company of kind guides who also enlighten us on more history to the monastery. We were also lucky to tour some of the chapels that had been put in place right within the monastery. It was indeed a lovely place to tour and we vowed to visit it again.
The dazzling Orbaneja Del Castillo was one place we would not want to imagine avoiding. It was indeed a spectacular village full of astounding attractions. We moved though many of its charming streets admiring the buildings that were revealed to us. It was definitely a good thing being there. We progressed straight to the falls area to have a sensational feel of the magical waters. Truly, the atmosphere here was overwhelming and the best. I loved it very much. The vegetation was also pleasing and magnetic. We could hardly hide our joy as we had to keep laughing for having discovered such a wonderful place. We walked down to the valley where we got soaked with the calm and serene atmosphere as we watched the waters drop down mysterious though in a misty form. It was very remarkable seeing the huge pool of water that lay below the fall and seemed to be swallowing all that was dropping . This experience was certainly incredible. We were very happy that our visit was going great.
We then headed to the astounding Acros de Santa Maria to have more merry. We followed a sloppy route that was definitely worth of using and got ourselves into the monuments area. The site was eye catching and attractive. The gate that led us in was the most dramatic as there were some musicians below it doing what they knew best. I liked their music very much as it gave the whole place a high sense of a great adventure spot. The gate was very alluring and more so its design that we had not seen before. Everything that stood there seemed more of a historical figure. We loved the buildings that were a bit old but very lovely. There were also many enticing statutes that we had fun seeing. It was surely a place worthy of been taking photos in. We would certainly love to visit there again.
The magnetic Parque de la Isla was another place we mesmerized visiting. It was indeed scenic and one of the best parks we had stepped in. There was so much fun waiting us. We quickly moved to the playground to do some little enchanting games and so relax our bodies. It was surely dramatic and we also had a chance to witness other tourist do their games. We then strolled down to the amusing river to catch up with its beauties. It was so serene and calm with temping waters that were hard to avoid swimming in. We first sat on its banks with our legs in the calm magical water. We for a time thought we had been taken to another world. The greenly look gave the place a compelling status. I love being there very much and would definitely have to visit there again.
We then moved further to the attractive Museo de Evolucion Humana. The museum lured us from far. It had a gorgeous layout and a colossal size right for its use. We had to take it several photos before entering into its rooms. Our curious eyes were greeted by the sight of outstanding displays and seemed to have been formulated by very skillful persons. We liked everything that we came across. The guides were very friendly and got us into a learning session where we came to know much of the history attached to each exhibit. It was unquestionably one of the best places we loved touring. We took our time to stroll through every part admiring amend appreciating the beauties that lay exposed to us. Our visit was incredibly awesome.
We finally ended our adventure at the striking Caves of Sierra de Atapuerca. This site is very popular for the spectacular museum housed within it. We were welcomed by fabulous guides who were very informative. They got us learning much history about the original people in Europe. It was very moving to also watch some videos which depicted much of what we were likely to come across. We walked to most parts of it amidst huge hordes of tourists who were also enjoying themselves. We witnessed many impressive historical buildings that were well preserved. It was certainly a fantastic moment being there. Our visit to Burgos can hardly be forgotten in our lifetime. We would have to visit Burgos again as its beauties are first class and the most excellent we had ever seen all our lives.
