no air-conditioned coach on coach tour

No Air-Conditioning on day-trip Coach
Our September 2008 holiday was booked through Portland Holidays Direct and stayed at the Hotel Tasia Maris – Nissi Beach. We booked a coach trip to the Troodos Mountains through the Thompson representative at the hotel assuming the coach would be air-conditioned and especially as the temperatures were approximately 40C. At beginning of the trip, I asked the driver to switch on the air-conditioning, only to be told that the coach did not have air-conditioning; only recirculated air (which was virtually the same as the outside temperature).
The most uncomfortable coach trip ever made and therefore a waste of money.

  1. Oh i feel for you, that must of been a nightmare, although it should of improved once you started climbing up the mountains.
Personally i don’t bother with coach tours, always go for a rental car. and i always insist on air con, wouldn’t do without it now.
