Logoworks is one of the larger logo design firms selling their services online. The company was founded in 2001 and operates out of offices in Utah in the US. They claim to have served over 45,000 clients and have worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies. Originally founded by Morgan Lynch, the company is under the Hewlett Packard (HP) umbrella. Logoworks have an design team of over 40 in-house designers but also outsource work to freelancers.
Design and Prices
The company specializes in custom logo design but also offers a range of other services which include business cards, stationery, design and brochures.
For those wanting a company logo, their basic or ‘silver’ for $299 offers customers four initial concepts drawn up by two different designers and two chances to make slight alterations or revisions to those designs. The next step up in terms of their is the $399 ‘gold’ that includes six concepts by three different designers with unlimited revisions.
Their other that include their other services, as well as custom logo design, range up to $2999 in value.
While customers are given ownership of their final design, Logoworks retains ownership of all initial concepts not selected by the customer.
Logoworks have a fairly complicated refund policy and you would be advised to read it before ordering. It appears to state that customers are eligible for a refund if they are not happy with the initial Logoworks response. An administration fee of $99 is deducted on their refunds and customers have to complete the refund application process within three days of receiving the initial response or they risk being billed for the whole price (they may have only paid for part of the price up until that point).
