Hi everyone,

I have a question for you: Is Doha rich in samples of the Islamic culture and arts? Also, do you think I can find some cheap accommodations? This is a research journey.

  1. Hello,

If you want a better insight in the Islamic culture you should visit the following landmarks: the Museum of Islamic Art, the Qatar National Museum, the Al Koot Fort, the Qatar national museum, the Post Office Museum and even the Weaponry Museum. The grand Mosque and the Kassem Darwish Fakhroo Islami, which is a tower, should not be missed either.

  2. Hi,

I would like to add the KDF Islamic Centre to the list. It is the Qatar Centre for the Presentation of Islam. I think that interests you the most. I stayed at a hotel somewhere near the Emiri Diwan palace, which I found among RihlaPrime’s offers. The Clock Tower was pretty close as well. Both are worthy of your attention, if not for your study, at least for your own pleasure!
