Car Rental Australia

Hi, does anybody know of a low cost car rental site in Australia? Going there on honeymoon in a couple of months and have left one week free to drive around

  1. I don't know if you're looking to pay in AUD, USD, EUR, or GBP but Auto Europe does car rentals in all of those currencies (i use them in US dollars). Even though they're in the US, they're open all the time and I'm pretty sure they have a free telephone number in case anything goes wrong for your honeymoon rental. I'm so jealous you're going to Australia, let me know how driving is upside down!  Grin

  2. I know this a little late for you – but if anyone else if looking for cheap car rentals, you could try Budget Car Rentals or Discount Car Rentals. i haven’t used the second one, but Budget Car Rentals have been a good company to deal with in the past. My other suggestion is to just Google – there are so many companies you could try.

  3. Hey, thank you for the information. I am planning on going to Sydney and was wondering how to rent a cheap car as well, so I can take a drive around the city and the area around it! Anyone know if it will be a problem to use my British driving license? I think not, but, hey, but be safe then sorry! 🙂
    Cheers!

  4. I know i am pretty late to answer your question, but I am answering this as it will certainly help you in future as you might feel a need of a cheap rental car. australiarentcar is one of the premier car rental companies that I have come accross. I preferred useing it when I last visited Australia and found it’s services cheap and best as a customer.
